What a team! "Legitimate rape" and "take as many babies as god will give me, (even tho I'm 45 and lost the last pregnancy at an advanced term, and the last child born was over 3 months early due to maternal HBP that about killed me and the child)", pair up!

The Duggar family of Arkansas will campaign for Rep. Todd Akin in Missouri. The popular reality television family famous for having 19 children will stump for the embattled conservative Republican in southern Missouri on Tuesday and Wednesday. The move tries to get Christian voters on board for Akin's fight against Democratic incumbent Sen. Claire McCaskill.

* The Washington Times reports the family met Akin at a Patriot Day rally. Jim Bob Duggar , the family patriarch, told the news media outlet, "Todd Akin is a true-blood conservative. He's somebody we believe in."

* Akin and the Duggar family have homeschooling in common. Both families educated children at home, away from public and private schools. The Duggar family is deeply Christian and espouse their conservative values regularly on their reality show.

* Duggar believes Missouri is a key state for Republicans to win. He also told the Times that GOP supporters "need to give money directly to the candidate."

* The first stop for the Duggar family is a women's lunch rally beginning at noon Tuesday in Springfield, Mo. Michelle Duggar, the mother of 19 children, will appear alongside Janet Huckabee, wife of former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee. Admission is $20.

* A rally will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday in Osage Beach, Mo., at the Main Street Music Hall. As with many appearances for the Duggar clan, some of the children will play music while Akin rallies supporters.

* On Wednesday, the Duggar family is in Farmington, Mo., at the Farmington Civic Center beginning at 12:15 p.m. Another rally will be held later in the day in Poplar Bluff at 6:30 p.m.

* Akin participated in a forum in Kansas City on Saturday to preview the coming week of campaign stops with the Duggars. The Kansas City Star reports Akin was a keynote speaker at a forum called "Bringing America Back to God."

* The forum was held at Kansas City's National World War I Museum and around 60 people attended for $20 each. The Star reveals Akin said at the gathering, "God himself granted us life and liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Those things don't come from the Supreme Court, nor the president, nor Congress. Those things come directly from God."

* Akin was not allowed to make a campaign speech at the forum. However, the Star reports the candidate alluded to his election fight by saying, "Count me on the right side."

* Later on Saturday, Akin reiterated his belief in God at a campaign stop in Sedalia. The Sedalia Democrat reports Akin told locals at a rally, "This is a very unique country, but we are unique because ... God himself blessed us with life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness."

* Jim Bob Duggar was once a politician himself and campaigning for Akin is a natural fit. The Duggar patriarch served in the Arkansas House of Representatives from 1999 to 2003 and ran for U.S. Senate in 2002.

Maybe Mrs Dugger's uterus will fall out on national TV. That would be "Television worth watching."
