And they cheat getting the recipes for all that new technology they come out with. Asians are not known for being technology creators. But they are top notch as counterfeiters, at industrial espionage, and bribes. According to the president and Romney, they intend to squelch that.

AGW is a scam and most know it by now.
Lots of bluster, but not evidence for that position. That is the problem when you try to put political opinion up against actual science.

One of the reasons no one accepts the premise that the earth is flat anymore. or that the sun revolves around it.

Sorry Newt you are the 21st century equivalent of an ignorant peasant.

The Chinese will do what is good for the Chinese. If they determine going green is good for their bottom line, they will go green.

Absolutely, Telco. And their decisions will be based on science and good financial sense, not politics.

Sure they are. I said IF, not that they are.

I can't speak for India but the Chinese are very adaptable. That is how they managed to create a capitalistic system within a Communist framework. No small feat.

They don't seem to have any plans to end the building of coal fired plants. That alone proves Pats point in the first post.

Clueless Bertie can't see the difference between putting in coal plants as a stopgap measure until your production catches up because you can't supply enough power any other way, and the US Right's idea of continuing to use old, dirty tech because you're afraid of the future.

Child, you need to go see your mommy to get some more instruction about how to act as a adult.

Stopgap? When they are making all those clean energy devices and shipping them all over the world? If they are so good why aren't they using them instead?
