His question has to do with people doing online shopping. What do you not understand about that?
The topic is 250,000 new part-time jobs, not web-based shopping. What do you not understand about that? And, what does asking Joe if he ever bought anything online have to do with new job creation?
See post #12.

Geez! Are you brain dead? The thread is about 250,000 part-time jobs. Not whether Joe ever bought anything online. If Pat was trying to say that they were part-time jobs and not full-time jobs, and that they were a result of online shopping, then he should have said so, but he didn't.

MR indicates BB does not have a web presence, I show him they do and now since he looks foolish he starts with the insults and name calls. Happens every time. lol

I'm going to miss Best Buy. I thought it was a fun place to browse in. I quit buying even little items from them when they screwed me on the points card they gave me. I tried using thre points for some gadget, can't remember what it was, and I was told by the clerk my points had expired or the program was ended. Some lame excuse.

The geek squad they have is overpriced and worthless too. They tried charging me $200 to fix a stuck left click pad on a laptop. A little shop down the street looked at it, did some magic, and it began working again.

The bottom line is Best Buy does not offer value in the marketplace anymore.

If BB asked me for one piece of advice I would tell them better customer relations. They hire some of the most stupid people I've dealt with.

Joe, the reason I asked you, is because you are just as responsible for the loss of jobs in the country as everybody else. I'm not faulting you for using the new way things are bought and sold, but this approach has cost jobs all throughout the brick and mortar retail sector. Blaming republicans is a myth.
Pat, I order online and I have ordered online from best buy. BBoffers online shipping or buy online and pick up at store

Most of our online buying is through amazon these days. The Prime membership is the best value out there. Free shipping, no sales tax and stuff delivered on the second day is hard to beat.

I buy a lot of stuff from Amazon too. But, occasionally find a better price elsewhere. I especially like to check their reviews on products. Much more trustworthy than manufacturers website reviews. Even more useful imo than the Cons.Reports on line subscription I have. I find it particularly informative to look at the negative reviews.

Amazon is not always the lowest. I beat Amazon on pricing on the items I sell. Plus, like just happened. I have great customer service. Got a call on a product, told them how to make the connections..done
