The good news out there this morning, Amazon is adding 50,000 part timers along with Macy's, Target, Wal-Mart, and Toys R Us.. This seems to be the face of the new job recovery being touted by the government. Amazon is the best shot at gaining a full time job with some benefits off this hire, they are expanding as fast as the general retail sector is shrinking. It's tough to have a bricks and mortar operation in the internet environment.

This Christmas shopping season may be Best Buys swan song. They have been bleeding red ink for several years, used mostly by consumers to check out products in person, before placing an order at one of the online sites that offer better pricing and free shipping.

So let's cheer all this new job growth, which should carry over for the most part, through December. :toasting:

Jobs are there, but they are not good enough jobs to suite some. Again, Pat's post reminds me of my father saying "some people would complain about being hung with a new rope."

Republicans do not want job growth. They want a jobless poor lower class that will mow their lawn for $5 a week

Ooh! Snippy this morning eh, Pat? Just trying to have a discussion with you. Why not tell me what you mean by asking if Joe had ever bought anything on the internet.

We saw that. What did it have to do with the revelation that 250,000 new jobs were being created?
