Big news here on Canadian TV. Apparently some Russian female grunge rock group known as P'ussy Riot have been tossed in the pokey for ten years for "expressing" themselves. Civil Rights activates here have taken up their cause. They need to find something worthwhile to do.

I think the groups name is P'ussy Rot and the lead singer goes by the name Rosey Rotencrotch, ergo, the groups name. |

Freedom of speech is still non-existant in Russia The verdict was a signal to the people: don`t criticize Putin. .....and he doesn`t care too much about protests from the west. |

For some reason, the Russians were never able or willing to embrace freedom. Instead, they turned back to a strong dictatorial head in the name of Putin, the former head of the KGB. Speak out and raise a fuss and you get thrown in prison. |
