We own a 2 year old quarter horse gelding (we bought him when he was one) that my wife is breaking to ride. When our granddaughter is 8 the horse will be 6 and ready for her to start barrel racing and roping if she is interested in the cowgirl life.

The horse she is sitting on in the poto is an Arab that is 18. This is a great age for a starter horse.

Sometimes I miss having never had children or grandchildren of my own.

The only reason many of us go through the hassle of having and raising children is for the grand kids!

Grand children are nature's revenge. I especially enjoy giving NOISE TOYS. The new drum and bugle set will be loads of fun...
