Both sides have ton's of experts who can "prove" that human memory, especially when it comes to stressful incidents, isn't all that reliable. Just look at all the rape and murder suspects being released from prison due to DNA testing even though the wit's were POSITIVE they were the bad guy at the trial.

But isn't voice identification even further removed from eye witnesses? I don't know, just asking.

If it is just the mother claiming that the voice is her son's then perhaps even less weight than an eye wit. If the crime lab can show that the voice belongs to Zimmerman or Tyvon that would be different. Edited by campingken, Apr 28 2012, 10:15 AM.
