If you understand the ends Marx and Lenin envisioned for society, you would know what Left-libertarianism is: "The first, and original, school of left-libertarianism is Libertarian socialism." Chomsky is a left libertarian.

The problem with all implementation of socialism, communism, fascism, nazism, social democracy, is that the step prior to those ends is government control, central planning, big government bureaucracy that will never relinquish that power until, as history shows, it collapses of its own unsustainable weight.
Wrong thread Chris this is about beasteality. :teeth:

Uh, Tom, are these not your words and are they not in this thread? "He describes himself as a left wing libertarian. Not sure what that means, but it would be interesting to here what the libertarian minded folks here have to say about this." Thank you.

I think he should be in an institution.

Uh, Tom, I think it is the correct thread. The guy charged with bestiality claims to be a "left libertarian." Some asked what a "left libertarian" is.

I wasn't looking for definitions. I wanted to know if someone who advocates libertarian ideals thinks he should be left alone to enjoy his doggy humping.

Locking up people out of the normal range of acceptable human behavior is one thing.

Institutionalizing your political opponents is scary thinking?

Perhaps some gas chambers to, for the final solution to the liberal problem?

Hopefully we won't have to worry about institutionalizing political opponents or gas chambers while we still have our 2nd amendment's right to bear arms.

Mmmm............... I've been laboring under the idea that 2nd amendment rights were important so we have recourse if government becomes totalitarian and oppressive. Not, to subjugate our political enemies, or percieved enemies. Again it's reminiscent of the nazi way of thinking. Villify your opponents and once they are the evil ones responsible for the ills of the country (in this case the libs), then it's ok to take them out. That's called scapegoating. It's a political tactic used by dictators, tyrants and Republicans. :teeth:

I wouldn't have the foggiest what a left libertarian socialist would think. I think, now that you know what one is, given the affinities, you're in a better to answer your own question.
