This has got to be one of the most beautiful videos i've seen advertising Alberta Canada. The hills, mountains, stream. Gorgeous beyond belief.

And, just think....those fiends are keeping it to themselves and coming here on this forum and not sharing. Wow....lol
If you have an HD monitor, or even if you don't, maximize this video at the little box thing on the bottom right near the audio settings and just...watch.

Simply Grandiose.
Alberta is one of the top quality jewel in Canada.
Too bad soo many tourists limit their visit to the Werst Edmonton mall, Banff and Lake Louise hotel.ΒΈ

I bet here some more oil sand beneath those scenes. We will soon fix that scenery up.

Tim, here I thought you were one of the good ones, and now you've gone and done it...

We're gonna be hip deep in tourists!

I've been to most of those spots, seen the sights - one of the river scenes was taken within 100 yards of my favourite camping spot.

The whole thing was shot several years ago - it would be difficult to find that much snow by now. I hope the tourists aren't too disappointed.

LOL

I tell you what...i'd love to see some of those scenes in person. Especially the lakes and mountains...no snow skiing...lol.

I should be ashamed to let people in on that secret...lol

And, jacd, it's bad with the scene you posted. Although, I prefer to look at the best instead of the worst. To concentrate on the beauty, rather than the despair. The wondrous rather than the idiotic. You can have the most beautiful place in the world, and there will always be something that shows the ugliest. But, it's how you desire to look at the world, not ignore the bad, but enjoy the good that makes the bad easier to take. There is bad everywhere.

Tim, if you could come up some time, I'd be glad to show you around - the mountains in the early summer are beautiful, and Calgary at Stampede time is one big party.

My wife and I really enjoy fishing in Ontario CA. We fly out of Atikokan. Lots of lakes, trees, fish, and beautiful scenery.

We drove to Alaska and back a few years ago and the Canadian Rockey's, BC, Alberta, the Yukon were definitely highlights. We've also enjoyed the east coast. Canada is beautiful.

Back about 20 years or so ago, my grandparents drove from the US thru Canada to Alaska. They were towing a car behind their motorhome. And, the road was gravel, following some of the pipeline. When they got home, that paintjob was really ruined. But, they took pictures of all they could. Animals using the pipeline as a heat source. Stores using the permafrost in the ground as refrigerators. Mountains that were majestic. So much different than I ever imagined.
