Leave it to society to decide, and legally a jury of peers.
Do you mean just an informal gathering like a lynch mob?

Or that court thing that government provides?
Not necessarily a government court, tom. Why is your first thought always government as solution?
Why do you rail against government with no viable alternative?

You have to have rules (aka laws), the laws have to be enforced and where do you get the judiciary system from? Your non government utopia in reality is disfunctional.
Why do you assume no alternative?

"You have to have rules (aka laws), the laws have to be enforced and where do you get the judiciary system from?"

Private arbitration courts.

"Your non government utopia in reality is disfunctional."

Make no sense, tom, you're babbling.

How can one ad hom a post? Again, makes no sense.

Why are you trying to distract from what was a good discussion?

Are you against letting society decide issues like this, tom? if so, why?

what rights would you give the unborn? When you say society what sized group are you talking about? Should we let friend, the neighbors, the block, city, county, state, or nation decide?

"what rights would you give the unborn?"

Start with life, liberty, pursuit of happiness. Same rights as anyone else before the law.

"When you say society what sized group are you talking about?"

Society as a whole should discuss and determine all moral issues. A jury would be 12 peers.

No, insurance would pay. But I'm not suggesting anarchocapitalism here, tom, all I'm suggesting is a solution to a problem with things otherwise as they are. We have DAs who indict, courts that hear cases, juries of peers that decide. Use that system as is, no need for anything new or different, not even any new laws. Let society decide if it's murder.

Again, are you against letting society decide, and if so, why?

Chris,

Do you value our right not to agree with your definition of "rights?"

I am all for sterilization being a requirement for long term (generational) welfare. That is about the only way to break the chain.

There are many who come from welfare and end up very successful and it seems that I remember some statistics showing that the 3rd generation rich are more likely to end up poor.
