Chris,

You say the President tried to "force his beliefs" on others. Did he somehow attempt to force folks to use contraceptives? I hadn't heard nor read of that. Did the President tell others what they had to believe? I hadn't of that either.

Ignore churches. Government has no business in the contraception business. That is personal. Oh, I forgot. Cradle to the grave.
Yet, some on the right argue that folks wanting access to contraceptive materials through their insurance should be denied that by government action. How hypocritical.

Government should have no say one way or the other way.

Why is getting knocked up with out using contraceptives defined as an unwanted pregnancy? Or unplanned pregnancy? Am I missing something here? Allowing the sperm to head straight for pay dirt without any roadblocks is stupid, not unintended. Is it governments responsibility to protect stupid people? Where in the constitution can I find such a mandate?

Why would it be in the Constitution, Pat?

Who back then would have imagined it would even be possible?

The US Right's desire to go back to the good ol' days borders on fantasy.
