Neal, I have to hand it to you, you stick to your guns (I'm sincere about that). I can't help but notice that all those more left leaning who commented early on have been silent for the last page and a half. That could make one feel abandoned I know. But, we must give them some benefit of the doubt, it is a little early in the day for some.
Okay, I'll apologize for not noticing the last line of your post. The rest of it fit what I said however.

The obvious fact liberals hate the market when it's down, love it when it's up.
Yep! So?

No need to apologize, we are just discussing. I think that the responses you got from the right after a period of time was not because of your initial post but were prompted by some of the "snide" remarks that followed (not that there is anything wrong with that and Lord knows, I've dabbled in it myself).

But I see, help is on the way, Jcapps just gave you some support in the form of encouragement. But if you ever do feel abandoned by the left, you are always welcome over here on our side. Like Juan Williams, you are a good man and we would not abandon you as the left did him.

Yep! So?
The shifting feelings seem to have to do with animal spirits I suppose.

Throw in the mix the market being down is Bush's doing and the market being up is Obama's doing.

The Cons like the market when it's down because they are doom and gloom short sellers. It is all part of their hate America persona.

We'll have to disagree about Juan. We didn't abandon him, He abandoned us when he signed onto Fox News. Don't bet the farm on me ever becoming a conservative. I've been there and I didn't like it.

We don't know, for sure, who's doings it is. But, historically and currently, most people give blame or credit to the guy in the White House. The market was down under Bush and up Under Obama. I'm giving credit according that perspective.

There are a lot of folks that either have jumped the Conservative ship or are imminently going to. Me, I'm putting on my life jacket now.
