In my opinion Neal, you are kidding yourself if you don't accept the fact that by nature, all people are self centered. |

From all the office can find, my paperwork was wrong, both on the $2740 it said I was to get if I retired, and the amount I get now of only $700. They will be in contact, but it appears that, should the decide it was wrong, it should have been $1000 a month total as all I should get from what I paid. Seems the company I worked for that 17 years that went out of business was wrongly reporting. Imagine that. They'll be back in touch. |

Tim, SS will take a look at your tax files and come up with the correct number. Looks like you will be getting a nice check, plus interest. FYI. You probably already know this but SSD is taxable by the feds but is NOT subject to state income taxes. |

Yall will have to overlook me sometime if it's a while until I post. I'm going thru a new therapy type I got qualified to take. It pays all expenses of treatment and medical doctors and tests, but it might put me down for a while. I am 7 out of 10 treatments already, and the days vary with participants and time restrictions. It's hopeful, though, as am I. But, i'm not worried either way really. Anyway, i'll get back pay for 2 years and 4 months of about $300 a month I lost, but they won't pay it in a lump sum...they say they're broke. So, it's coming in with my regular check over 6 months, so at least I can maybe pay off last years bills, and this years so far are covered under the trials. I'm not sure of the amount, though, my mind is still all confused and does this for about 2 or 3 days afterwards...plus i'm nuts already so it's almost rubber room and hugging myself jackets. |
