So, apparently you are saying (I asked before) that there is no truth to what the articles are saying. That you doubt that any evidence exists, that Tucker Carlson is lying about what Frisch wrote?
Based on the articles you posted, I have no reason to believe there is any truth to them.

Since there are no facts, do you want my opinion? Here it is:

Is Carlson lying? "Lying" is a strong term. "Attempting to mislead" about what Frisch said would be much closer.

If you want my opinion about Media Matters, I believe there may be a few individuals with a real hate on for FOX news, and they may make intemperate statements. But I don't believe for a moment that Media Matters as an organization is out to "destroy" the operation or any individual.

But that just my opinion. Like you, I have no facts.

quote: "In an expose at the Daily Caller, Tucker Carlson wrote that in 2009, Karl Frisch suggested hiring "private investigators to look into the personal lives of Fox News anchors, hosts, reporters, prominent contributors, senior network and corporate staff" in a memo emailed to Media Matters founder David Brock and president Eric Burns."

From Tucker Carlson, a former talking head at MSNBC, we are told that a conspiracy was discussed to dig some dirt up on FOX staff. I can't recall any juicy news erupting wherein any of this has come to fruition. Maybe one of you guys can. I wouldn't surprise me if there have been efforts along this line.

Well, I'd say to print what Carlson said of Frisch, I'd say that's it's an out and out lie if not true... not just a mere misleading.

Speaking of the ends justifying the means, perhaps we should all recall that it was Fox News.com who paid their attorneys a great deal of money to argue in federal court that the Constitution's guarantee of free speech gives Fox News the right to mislead/lie. And, They won.

Yes it is.
