Here's another one. Traffic fines. I believe that fines should be based on income as well. A $100 ticket means nothing to a millionaire, but its a lot of money for an average Joe. They do this in Finland. And Switzerland. LINK
And what is your reasoning for this your belief, telco.

"A $100 ticket means nothing to a millionaire, but its a lot of money for an average Joe."

What you cannot possibly know, the subjective valuations of others, is not a reason.
Gobbledygook.

Chris,
why do you constantly try to baffle us with BS?
What do you consider Gobbledygook and why do you make up insults?

Just as telco cannot possibly know the subjective valuations of others, neither can you know my motivations.

Thanks, SeaDog, I just learned a new word. eek eek
And I looked for examples, and found that one:
Quote:

"The optimum allowable operator-risk prevention parameters for the AGV-integrated work cell assembly process are contiguous on situational performance factors and fiscal analysis considerations comprising the specified JIT-pull production requirements in relation to standardized output quotas."

Clear as mud

So Chris, it is your opinion that a hundred bucks is as important to a millionaire
as it is to someone who takes home two hundred a week?

No, which explains where the Gobbledygook lies.

It is my contention you nor telco nor I can see into the minds and hearts of others to determine their subjective evaluations.

Jack gave a good example of gobbledygook,
A statement that sounds learned and means nothing at all!

I see, common sense does not enter into your argument.

Aha, Brewster and Sea. Yup. Well, all but the learned part.

Explain what your so-called common sense is based on.

And when you get done trying to figure that out, I submit the better question to ask, instead of comparing the subjective valuations of people, compare the more objective valuation we might put on $100 in the hands of a man who has a history of using it to generate much wealth vs in the hands of a man little?

Man! Such envy of the rich (Hollywood types excluded of course). What new ideas can the left come up with to sock it to the successful? They don't want to try to work up to their level, that takes exertion; so,,, try to bring them down to our level, the path of least resistance.. no resistance; the very essence of the Obama "level playing field." Another reason he will win a second term. The trough is deep and wide and many there be that feed from it.
