Economic Darwinism is basically a misunderstanding of a metaphor introduced by Herbert Spencer and misapplication of biology, specifically evolutionary theory, to economics. TO make matters worse, the misunderstanding and misapplication also involves misunderstanding of evolutionary theory. I hadn't heard it's been reintroduced, and would love a reference to see what all the hoopla is about. |
