I think that our democracy in America has turned a very dangerous corner.

Hey, Big Business has America's best interests in mind. This is one gamble the Casinos are going to lose.

Sheldon Adelson has dual citizenship with Israel. He is going to get the next president to do Israel a big favor and use our military to destroy Iran.

The article said the guy makes $3.3 million an hour. So his $25 million total donation is about a days pay. The equivalent of Joe average throwing $200 into the kitty. So, it's not going to stretch him to thin. Unbelievable, when you think about all the good that could be accomplished with that much money.

It's only been that way since a well funded propoganda campaign reintroduced "economic darwinism". We have seen the excesses of it before, but some would forget the lessons of history.

It's his money, why can't he do what he wants with it? Isn't that what other big organizations (like GE) do? Some give to the Dems, some to the Reps. He apparently favors giving to Israel. Some throw money at the Libyian "mercy war" and Egypt, Afghanistan in hopes that they set up a Democracy. How's that working out? And there are those who would deny Israel which is a Democracy. That's got to be a little nuts.

So many bitch about us sticking our noses and our money in places we shouldn't be... and those same people call Ron Paul a "wingnut" and a "nutjob." He's a "looney" for thinking as they think. Go figure.

Right! If average Joe wants to throw 7.5 hours of work at politics and have it equal "this guys" contribution he needs to work harder and smarter. We put too much value in sitting around and drinking beer and not enough on carrying the load.
