I think the left on this forum uses those kinds of names often when referring to right wing politicians, policies, and such. If the right refers to Obama as a "socialist" or a "far left liberal progressive," which are acceptable political/social terms, the right is called racist. We don't have to use names like "left wingnut, looney, halfbreed, nitwit" to cause alarm. All it takes is a strong disagreement with his policies to be called racist, right wingnut loonies, nutjobs and done so with no facts presented. popcorn
Socialist is an acceptable political social term. No disagreement there. But, when some uses it as a disparaging comment and it is not true (a lie), then they are fair game for the right wingnut/loonienutjob moniker.

The left wing nut jobs left town 30 years ago Jim. Are you trapped in some sort of 70's time warp?

When you accuse moderates and right of center conservatives of being leftie liberals, it's you that is out there in fantasy land. Now, the big question is it is a self induced delusion, or are you the victim of brainwashing.

Someone that is a liberal that thinks he is a conservative is definitely living in fantasyland. Someone that obviously doesn't know the difference between conservative and liberal. :hystery:

Jim,

Were you looking in a mirror when you typed the above? A union member tenure protected tax supported govt worker does not fit the definition of "Conservative." You have lived the liberal life and you are a liberal. Stop trying to fool yourself.

Yup, if GW Bush was a liberal than so is Jim. The old reformed whore syndrome.
"We hate the most that which is within us". Must be some guilt issue.
