Thumper, we’re brothers on that thought! Most of the bad boys have never fired a weapon much less any training and the vast majority would fall in the presence of people that take their self-defense even remotely serious. |

Yes, a 12 gauge shotgun, a 22 carbine with leopold scope and an RWS pellet rifle. I've had my eye on a stainless 357 mag revolver down at the local gun shop. But, I'd had other places that needed the $500+ more. My point in case you missed it is owning a gun or not has nothing to do with your masculinity. It's like the statement by many of the right wingers that people on that left aren't patriotic americans. |

If you handle your guns and have special names for each one does that make you a tougher person. Does polishing your firearms a lot make you a gun abuser. And last when i walk through my local sporting goods store i want to hold every weapon. Am i a gun nut ? |

It is sad you seem to live in a society where you feel its necessary to be armed. I am not going to judge, if I lived there I might well own one myself. I hope it does not go that way here, but I have my doubts that it won't. |

I have never felt the need to be armed. I enjoy having the choice. Your citizenry obviously isn't responsible enough to have that choice. Perhaps the problem isn't here. |
