I have read the entire Grand Jury Report. Have you? When are you going to provide the quotations for which I asked?

Never...................I am a businessman where you are a state worker. We have to make decisions based on common sense and in a timely manner. State employees take months to make a simple decision. Thats how they make money. Take your time and reread and then look at other evidence. I know its difficult to work fast but thats what I do

I too have read the grand jury report Colo, three times. If you did too, you will remember reading sworn testimony beginning on page three for Victim number 1 where under sworn testimony, he outlined how and where he was sexually assaulted by the accused. You wuill also have remembered that due to testimony, that both the AD and finance guy were charged with perjury for lying. When Sandusky comes to trial. despite claiming his innocence, these same witnesses will testify under oath what they claim he did. There will be eyewitness accounts given by former janitors and a current PSU assistant coach as having witnessed sexual assaults against children. You're right Colo, a jury has not convicted Sandusky in a court of law. However as in the OJ case, outside jury nullification, with the amount of sworn testimony against him, a list of witnesses against him, it would be safe to assume the guy will be convicted. We now await the process that will most likely result in that being the case. As you know, the case has broadened in scope and now includes allegations of pimping, al of which will be investigated and either found to have merit or not.

Let me ask you a question Colo. After reading the sworn testimony of the alleged victims in the grand jury report do you A. beleive there is probably cause to believe Sandusky raped and sexually assaulted the witnesses or B. he is probably innocent and all of the alleged victims are liars?

In a court of law, guilt or innocence of an allegation of a crime as defined under the legal statutes of the jurisdiction of the state must be proven under the terms the judge gives the jury. It's not an exact science and the decision by the jury and judge does not always determine whether the person did or did not in fact commit the crime. However, in cases where there is a series of witnesses testifying under oath that they witnessed the crime taking place, and in cases such as this one, where the charges extend over a period of time and all point towards the accused having committed crimes of the same nature, I think it is safe to say the accused will be not only convicted under the law, but that all doubt has been removed. That the preponderance of evidence tips the bar in favor of guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

Outside your desire to hear the final word of the court, I find that since this subject was first posted here for discussion last week, that your comments first centered around your belief that JoePa did nothing wrong, to now apparently believing that Joe and myself the messengers here, are overreacting. Stating my opinion and Joe stating his is not only acceptable behavior for a discussion forum but should invite those who disagree with us the opportunity to state why they disagree. I asked you a couple of questions here, and you can choose to either answer them and add to the discussion or continue to make disparaging comments about me and Joe. The ball is in your court.

Well Pat, rather than take Jcaps' and your word for his guilt or innocence, I will leave that to the trial judge and jury. I happen to believe in the American Justice System and its ideals , including innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. I am sorry if the two of you do not.

If the impending court trials are held in Happy Valley, we will see cases of jury nullification. Probably should send these cases out of state.
