The Centre County district judge who freed former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky on bond after his Nov. 5 arrest is a supporter and volunteer of Second Mile, the children's charity Sandusky founded.

Judge Leslie Dutchcot set a $100,000 unsecured bond for Sandusky after he was arrested on charges he sexually abused eight boys while a leader of The Second Mile; prosecutors had asked for a $500,000 bond.

Because the bond set by Dutchcot was unsecured, Sandusky was freed following his arraignment hearing Nov. 5. He won't be responsible for posting the bond unless he fails to appear at future hearings.

Sandusky is charged with 40 counts, all related to sexual abuse and abuse of minors.

Dutchcot is listed as "of counsel" to the State College law firm of Goodall and Yurchak, which means she can advise the firm, but is not a member of the firm. Her profile on the firm's website states that she is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and the Duquesne University law school. She also has worked as an assistant district attorney in Monroe County.

Dutchcot's profile, which was removed from the firm's site Monday morning, says she has worked as a volunteer with The Second Mile, the American Heart Association and Centre County PAWS.

The 2009 annual report issued by Second Mile also lists Dutchcot and her husband, Art Entz, as donors of between $500 and $999. The couple was not listed as donors in The Second Mile's 2010 report.

According to the ex wife of one of the child rapists sons, her former husband dropped their three kids off at pervert grandpas home for a visit the other day. The ex-wife called up grandma and said she didn't want the rapist around her children unsupervised. Grandma balked and tried convincing mom that the kids were safe and grandpa wouldn't do nothing to them. Here's the kicker, the 8th victim is one of the kids the Sanduskys adopted. Yes i know, shocking to those of us in the real world, but not in happy Valley. A judge granted the mom her wishes today.

There has to be something in the water back there that renders all common sense null and void when, it comes to this pervert. From reports out there, we have not heard nothing yet when it comes to this case.

How many accused serial child rapists get let out of jail unsupervised and without a nickle in bail? Once again, I've never heard of one, has anybody?

I take it that Sandusky has already been tried, convicted and sentenced for being a "serial rapist," at least in your minds. Gee, why don't we just do away with our Justice System leave it up to decide all matters of guilt and innocence?
