The pipeline from Canada to our gulf has been studied to death for years now and the point was reached for the federal government to say yea or nay. Out phony president decided it was not politically advantages to do his job and make the decision, therefore we are now in limbo. I guess that's more of the change that he promised three years ago.

He is between a rock & hard place politically on this one, so he has taken the easy way out. Is that right? I don't think so, but its the sort of think politicians do. He can make a decision on it at the start of his next term and people will forget 4 years later, or he can offload it to the next president if he loses. The only problem with this strategy in this case, is that Canada is now saying we will scrap it and construct a pipeline through BC to sell the oil to China instead. |
