As a pre-emptive comment, this is not intended as anti-Obama, he's just the successor of a long line of statists. He can't help it or himself. And, no, I don't believe the current crop of front-running conservatives will be anything but more of the same.

Barack Obama is facing an anti-Big Government revolution

Three major polls this week will give a jittery White House cause for concern. The first, from ABC News/Washington Post shows a significant rise in public anger towards the federal government. The second, from The Wall Street Journal/ NBC, shows overwhelming disillusionment with President Obama’s handling of the economy. The third, from Gallup, has conservatives in America now outnumbering liberals by a two-to-one margin....

The biggest complaint is the lack of jobs. That is most likely the result of policies that go back a few decades, albiet the guy who is currently the head honcho gets the blame.

I think the Koch sponsored anti big government movement culminating in the Tea Party is a movement that gave all those geezers frustrated with a black liberal in the white house to vent a little. And, the 2010 mid terms results were an anomoly. But, we shall see.

Well the US consumer numbers are looking better LINK. I suspect if Europe had not gone the way it has, the recession in the US would now be history.

Which is why I say "he's just the successor of a long line of statists". This anti-government attitude started under Bush and only grows greater.
