Why Canadian health care is better than that in the US Its interesting they mention non-emergency wait times of 4-6 weeks, not the 17 weeks the Frarser Institute has managed to dig up. They must be including the weeks most people take before they get the courage up to see a doctor. LOL. 4-6 weeks has been about my experience BTW for non critical procedures. |

Another classic. Good one, Paul. No wonder Chris embarrasses the hell out of you. |

Chris does a good enough job of embarrassing himself without attempting it on others. Another individual who always repeats himself. |

Show Miller a little mercy. Miller recently stated that the only thing he "believes in is PSU football". His little world has been shattered by with JoPa and his band of perverts.

BTW in that article they mention the 1000's in Canada who cannot get a family doctor. (They usually have to use walk in clinics) That plagues the US as well, That is not a funding issue it is: 1) Demographics of an aging population 2) Shift in doctor gender towards women who won't work as long hours 3) Problems with the medical association with respect to certification of immigrant doctors 4) Difficulty in getting doctors to locate in remote (read frozen) small northern communities |

Come on Joe, how am I supposed to know what her solution or options have been in her life. The bottom line Joe is it is none of my business. And it should be none of our governments business either. A person's healthcare issues are between them, their family and how they decide to deal with it. Why does the government have to be involved in this? |

It depends on how you view healthcare. I tend to view it as a basic human right in a civilized affluent society. Like education. Others beg to differ. IMO, you have to have a healthy population to have a prosperous population. That is nto to say you need to control the exploiters and those who bleed the system. In Canada that is folks who run to emergency at the first sneeze. In your country its illegals. |

Yes Telco, but you are a liberal and I'm a somewhat libertarian who believes that people can make their own decisions in life. |
