I suspect Jim is also a secret Muslim. He seems just as single minded as a suicide bomber.
I do not think that is a fair statement at all, Paul. It is probably that kind of comment, albeit meant in jest, that leads to Jim's comments.

BTW, the action contemplated by those old geezers fits the definition of traitorous behavior..

The men ‘are nut’s’ if the article is accurate. But don’t believe it won’t be a civil war before hardworking, tax paying… American citizens give up their right to defend themselves.

Now the Thumper loves the mooslums…
Don't you have a pool liner to install or something to do? Maybe you can go shoot some water melons but you'll need something bigger than your Daisey Red Ryder. :guns:

Geriatric ex-bureaucrats and alleged militia.

Quote:

Alleged ricin plot in Georgia was a long shot[/url]From al-Qaeda to neo-Nazis, numerous hate groups have fantasized of pulling off a deadly terrorist attack using the highly lethal extract of the castor bean known as ricin. None has ever succeeded in carrying out such plans.

The four Georgians arrested this week in connection with an alleged terrorist plot may have been capable of advancing further than most amateur weaponeers, given their access to professional labs. (One had previously worked at the Centers for Disease Control, another for the Department of Agriculture.) But their chances for truly creating a weapon of mass destruction were tiny at best, biodefense experts say.

“Absolutely zero,” said Raymond Zilinskas, a microbiologist and expert on chemical and biological weapons....

...But even governments with dedicated weapons laboratories have struggled to create a ricin weapon that can kill on a large scale....

...Justice Department officials say one of the men involved in the latest case got so far as obtaining castor beans, and the four -- all 65 or older, all alleged members of a far-right militia movement...

As well as other pretzel-logic gotcha posts like "Well, Jim's comment comes close to destroying what was an interesting thread. Hopefully others won't let it."

I wish I could count the number of PM's I have received these past few years complaining about someone or another destroying a thread r constantly bickering with other members. Or asking me how much longer I was going to put up with such and such stalking or disrupting members.

Some of the complainers have posted to this thread with very little to say about the subject matter, yet plenty of barbs for others. Why is that?

Some "ghetto boys" have been driving around shooting up their side of town the past week here. They have no fathers to mentor them. I don't know why there are so many of them now than in 1960. Many law abiding residents are glad that they are able to "bear arms" just in case these misguided, great society bred, uneducated by choice, malcontents decide to invade their homes. Of course, Holden would like to change all that.... he thinks that only the drug cartels should have guns made available to them. But he battles the NRA, a group more powerful than he and has support from the United States Constitution, drawn up by men more insightful than anything produced in over 200 years.

My younger brother knows a fella that was 74 years old and upset over a repair bill for his car. He attempted to hire a hit man to do away with the repair shop owner.

The man he thought was a hitman turned out to be an undercover narcotics officer. An amount was agreed upon, a down payment made and the fella provided the officer with pictures of the victim and his home. The elderly fool is serving eight to fifteen years in the Arizona prison system.

Older folks can commit horrible crimes too.
exactly why we need gun control
