Jim,
Please remove you nose from the window of Texas, one would think of above all others would not want to meddle in affairs that aren't your concern.

It was a marketing strategy for sure, bringing in more $$ and armed citizens, a very positive step in my book. If the man doesn’t want to train who he sees as unfit or as a threat, it should be his decision keeping the boards out of it and let the market decide if he was right, not a governing board.

Don,
The question isn't his right to train, just his right to certification if he discriminates. He can discriminate all he wants in his own business, as long as he doesn't use the state to further that business.

Jim,

I thought it was funny and out of character for you to butt in where you have no business myself. You have been out of sorts for the last few weeks, new hip giving problems?

No. All is well and getting better every day. I just found it quite amusing that you would try to relate me and Texas with The U.S and Canada. What a hoot. Honestly, there is quite a difference. Oh, thanks for asking about my health. I truly appreciate that.

Jim,
I find your relationship to Texas in this case to be even less than the relationship the Canadians have to our politics. You ever here of the concept of states rights, you want to step on them in this case.

I don't care what Texas wants. I just admire the man for sticking up for his beliefs. He is willing to give up his license if necessary. I respect that.

Jim,
I'm fully willing to let him discriminate to his hearts content, just not as a licensed representative of the state. I figure the market will catchup to him sooner or later, that is what usually happens when you mix business and politics.

On the folks who voted for Obama, he said please don't take his course. But, he has no way of enforcing it. Now, the Muslims he says he won't teach them, and maybe he has a point, albiet it isn't pc.
