Looks like Chris now has a trusty side kick...hop-along (on his tax dollar hips) Jim. Why don't we all just agree that Chris is smarter than everyone and move on. He doesn't like the state or governement or whatever but he is willing to do nothing other than whine about it. A man of words not deeds

As I recall back in the day here he thought that Somolia was a great place to live because it has no central govt. Maybe he should cruise their coast.
If you want to admit you've got no arguments other than ad hom, ken, that's up to you.

I don't claim to be smarter, just to present arguments.

And, no, you misrepresent the Somalia argument. What else can you do when you can't muster facts and logic but only emotionalism and whine.

As far as attacking Chris is concerned, I suppose I am just getting a little tired of the rehashed "all forms of government & control is bad" garbage he spews. While it is not always good, it is also the only reason we have any civilization to speak of, rather than wandering around as hunter gatherers or trying to scratch a living out of a piece of dirt without others trying to kill us for it. I suspect if he could be transported not that far back into the past to live for a year or 2, his opinion of government controls would change very quickly. Especially the sort of government his rights are protected by in the United States. If he is not an anarchist, then he must get possessed by one each time he sits in front of a keyboard, because that is the way he comes across.

As far as Jim is concerned, maybe he has Aspergers Syndrome since he appears to be fixated on one subject.

"As far as attacking Chris is concerned"

Thank you for admitting that that is all you're doing.

"a little tired of the rehashed "all forms of government & control is bad" garbage he spews"

Except I haven't argued that. So in addition to ad hom, you've got straw men to argue with. No fact, no logic, pure emotionalism.

"While it is not always good, it is also the only reason we have any civilization to speak of, rather than wandering around as hunter gatherers or trying to scratch a living out of a piece of dirt without others trying to kill us for it."

Yes, if by "it" you mean social order, which is responsible for civilization, social institutions like the economy and even the state.

Problem is you mean by "it" the state and therefore get everything backwards. Nice myth, borders on religious fitting of facts to faith.

"If he is not an anarchist"

Another misrepresentation when I've already corrected you, I'm an anarchocapitalist, briefly, one who advocates governance (social power) without government (state power). Your not understanding the difference is the cause of your ad hom and straw man emotionalism.

You see what you want to see and argue with that, not what I say.
