Last night I received a phone call from my niece informing me that my baby sister collapsed on her bedroom floor and was rushed to the hospital.

It was found that she has a tumor on the left side of her brain the size of a fifty cent piece and another on her lower jaw. It will take a few days to get the test results back, but we are all extermely concerned.

I'm asking for those inclined, to pray for my sister and her family.

Thanks

Thanks Chris for the kind thoughts.

The news grew more grim this morning. The diagnosis is cancer and there are additional tumors in her lungs and stomach. So right now everything is rather chaotic as we wait for any possible treatment options. My brother has spent the weekend with her and she has family and friends on site. I hadn't planned on visiting until July, but that may change.

Please keep the prayers coming folks.

I seriously hope your sister does ok, Padre.

As one who was diagnosed with one of the less desirable forms of cancer... I know how rough it can be. Wish the prognosis were better for the lady, but you are right, the news is grim.

My best to you and your family.
