What kind of party do you like to have? Do you focus on physical strength? Magic? A nice mix? Personally I tend to have a Black Mage, a White Mage, one character that specializes in physical jobs like Knight etc., and I like to have one character take on some weird jobs like Geomancer and Chemist, just for the hell of it. The black mage and white mage switch back and forth to learn a mix of Black and White magic. Anyway, describe your party. |

Last time I played, I focused on a nice mix, like most of my parties in any FF. I had a melee unit, two magic users, and like a blue mage or something. I didn't get very far in this game, though. |

I have two magic users, a dedicated warrior, and a hybrid. Barts is my warrior, Faris the hybrid, while Lenna a Krile use magic. I try to use classes on Faris that have skills that are more situational. Like if I need a thief to Find secret passages or faster movement, or a geomancer to find holes. So she tends to jump around while leveling while the others are more focused. As for Lenna and Krile, they stay in thier own little worlds of magic. Lenna is my healer while Krile is my attacker. Eventually I try to have them set up with White Magic/Summon and Time Magic/Summon. Bartz is a typical fighter. Not much can be said about him. If the class is designed to do damage with a weapon, I try to train him in it. |
