Freya Crescent was sitting quietly near Lake Macalania, her firm eyes gazing at the glimmering water and pyreflies that wandered about. It seemed like it was always nighttime here, it was strange.. but at the same time, the place had a very comforting feel to it. The burmecian kept here most of the time anyways, secluded from the other towns since she has only been in Spira for approximately a week.

'This is lovely,' She thought in a sarcastic tone of thought, a frown curling on her lips. 'Sir Fratley finally takes an interest in me, he has 'no' idea who I am still, then I find myself in this strange place.. I'm sure this week can't get any stranger..' She was thinking, pulling off the hood that always concealed her face, revealing a young and feminine-looking a face.

About then, there was a nearby splash as a fishing lure hit the water. Over only about thirty or forty feet away was Karu, a male of the same race. He wore a different outfit than the usual for his race. It seemed more casual, and adapted from the human's race. A sword was also in it's sheath on his belt, though it looked old and worn.

Not too long after the small splash, another Burmechian approached him, having brought a small trey with tea on it, steam still rising from the tea pot. Judging by the fact that she had a tray, they lived nearby. Either that or they carried useless things of the sort with them. She then sat down near Karu. "You never catch anything here.." She said in a soft voice.

Freya was startled at the sudden splash of a lure hitting water, standing up and pulling her spear from her back, to her hands. She has become a bit more cautious.. or say, more like paranoid the last few days. Mainly because she wasn't sure how the enemies were here, and she was in a totally foreign area that she very well knew wasn't anywhere on the maps that she knew of.

As she saw Karu and Tia though, she was bewildered and shocked. Two more Burmecians.. did that mean she really was still in her dimension? That maybe this was just an unfamiliar plot of land nearby Burmecia? She wouldn't really be able to make any guesses YET, but the first course of action to see if she was right or not would be to ask these two.

"..Hello..?" She greeted them, keeping a good distance away. They might recognize Freya, seeing as she was a well recognized Dragoon from Burmecia.

Both looked over to Freya, though neither recognized her. They weren't from the same place she was. (Confusing names I can't remember!) "Hi." Karu said in a very masculine voice.

Meanwhile, Tia sat still, and continued to sip her tea, though she tilted her hat common to Burmechians down, to hide her face slightly. She had always been nervous about meeting new people... always.

"Do you need anything?" He asked her kindly, seeing as they had drink and food to spare, then, maybe she was lost? He didn't know.

Freya raised a brow in surprise. Well they sure sounded like they have been here for a particulary long period of time. For how long, she wasn't sure. But then again, maybe they'll be able to tell her a thing or two about the place she was in -since the burmecian hasn't really traveled far execpt around these confusing, shimmering forests-.

"My name's Freya Crescent.. I was hoping to get some information about where I am," She said bluntly, looking at Karu seriously. Funny how such a cute face can look so tough. "As well as what you two are doing in such a strange place, like this.. if you don't mind me asking."

She was trying not to sound rude but the female was stressed and sleep-deprieved. Despite the sereneness and peacefullness of the area, Freya found herself unable to relax in this foreign place.

"You're in Spira." Karu said. "These are the # Macalania Woods, and my sister and I live here.." He said with a small smile.

"Are you hungry?" Tia then asked, her voice soft, light, and sweet. It was gentle on the ears, and almost calming. Tia then gently, timidly, brought Freya a cup of tea, and a biscuit with various meats upon it.

Freya was shocked to hear what Karu said. She didn't recognize the word 'Spira', though soon the words began to sink in. She remembered being pulled into what seemed to be a rift of some kind, then appearing in these woods. Did that mean she was in a completely other world or something? That was the most logical explanation.

As Tia offered the tea and biscuit, the burmecian was a bit surprised though nodded slowly. She took the food and drink, murmuring a soft thanks while sitting down with legs crossed over one another. Slowly she began to eat, her eyes still on Karu and Tia as if she still had a ways to go before trusting them one-hundred percent.

"I see.. I come from Burmecia.." She started, then sighed. "So strange, I was just suddenly pulled into these woods by some sort of rift. Now I have no idea on how to get back." She mumbled dryly.

"That is strange." Karu said with a pause. "So, you're homeless, huh?" He asked in the kindest way possible. "We have a guest room, if you need a place to stay. You look awfully tired." He said.

Tia meanwhile just watched Freya with the same caution Freya was watching her with. She was a bit afraid of this stranger suddenly appearing, and talking about rifts. It all seemed like fiction to her.

Freya closed her eyes momentarily, thinking about what was just offered to her. Well it would be nice to sleep in a warm bed again, but then again she hardly knew these two and if they were trustworthy. Her mind was conflicted and tired, she was having difficulties deciding what to do. It was.. quite unlike her.

"Hm.. if its not any trouble," She started, opening her eyes and looking at Karu with those deep and amazingly calm eyes of hers. "I suppose now that I have a bit more knowledge of where I am, I may leave first thing in the morning. To explore this 'Spira'."

As much as she hated to admit it, she would have to do so eventually. Even if the land that stretched out miles all around her were foreign and new, she would have to adapt until the day she may be able to return to Burmecia, to her world..

"Alright." Karu said. He then set his pole to the side, planning on coming back. He then stood. "C'mon. I'll show you to our home." He said, kindly offering a paw to help her to her feet.

Tia meanwhile continued to sit, knowing she was on duty watching the pole. Strangely, she knew by the time he returned, she would have basketfuls of fish. It always happened.
