Aron Mirugi was wandering about in the Thunder Plains, sword hoisted over his shoulder and hand tightly gripping the handle. He was keeping close to the lightning rods, considering the Guado in Guadosalam suggested he do so -lest he be hit by lightning-. Still that didn't take away all the danger, as he did see one or two fiends crawling around. He decided to just keep going along and ignore them though. If he didn't bother them, maybe they won't attack. |

While Aron would not see it,he was not the only one traveling along the charred wasteland.Sakuya as well,was making her way through on her way towards another town.Though she had begun to consider that maybe this was not the best route.As she sat under one of the old lightning rod towers,she could feel the vibration of lightning as it hit the ground. But it was not lightning that scared her,no..the young samurai had no fear of such things..but she would not be rash as to run through it,for that would be a risk that was deadly and had cost many.. |

Aron unfortunately would not see Sakuya, continuing to walk on buy. He found himself in a load of trouble though, as he felt footsteps behind him. In the girl's eyes he'd be seen suddenly jumping to the side, dodging what had been some sort of wolf species or fiend attacking him. What made this situation even worse was the fact that the lightning was still striking down hard as usual, one hitting only 15 or 20 feet away. And even more so, the teen could see a Thunder Elemental approaching in the distance.. not good odds as he brought out his broadsword. "How fun." He grumbled. |

The girl did indeed see him jump to the side,causing one of her eye brows to rise up slightly.Why would he jump in such a random direction?There was no lightning coming near him,so that could not be the case.Slowly,she rose up to see if she could get a better view,it was then that she heard a sorta of growl,one that could not have been human. Not saying a word,she moved swiftly towards the next tower,remaining hidden from both the boy and the creatures attacking him as she made her way behind them in what would be a pinicher style movement so the enemy would be in the center...if it worked, and if she was not sensed before she could pull it off. |

"Tch." Aron watched as the wolf fiend lunged straight at him, the teen swiftly spinning to the side, his blade smoothly whizzing through the air and slicing into the monster's side. It let out a pained howl, landing on the ground with a stumble. The teen however came without a scratch, though he found himself temporarily blindsighed when a bolt of lightning crashed into the ground only a few feet in front of him, temporarily taking away his sight and hearing. Next thing he knew, something had pounced him to the ground.. aka the fiend. |

As the fiend had done this,Sakuya now had a good view of the events happening.She only had a few seconds before the boy was probably a meal for the demon. Moving towards the creature at full speed,her body low to the ground,she swiftly unsheathed her blade and slashed at the monsters back with three swings,then she delievered a kick to its behind in attempt to remove it off of its prey. |

The fiend roared in pain as it was hacked, having been this close to sinking its fangs into the still blinded Aron. It was effectively kicked away, around the same time that the teen's vision began returning to him. "Ugh.. thanks.." He mumbled, slowly moving back onto his feet, his mako blue eyes glancing back at Sakuya before looking forward, towards their attacker. It seemed weak.. probably couldn't take much more. However they still had an elemental coming their way either, and eveyone knew physical weapons didn't do much damage versus elementals. |

Sakuya looked at the two foes and frowned as she knew it was most likely an element of thunder.Looking from the weak monster to the metal plated being,she resheathed her blade as she still stood in her fighting stance. "You can thank me when its over...",the girl said in a serious tone as she continued to look at their opponents. |

"Right.. as long as we get out of this alright.." Aron responded as he hovered his hand over the top of his blade, using the Flametongue ability and letting his broadsword burst into flames. "I'll take the Elemental.. think you can handle wolfy over there?" He asked, the wolf fiend beginning to advance on them once more. |

Sakuya did not respond to his comment,her focus was already on the advancing wolf.As lightning hit the ground once again,she charged towards the fiend and then slide along the ground just as she and the beast would cross each other. But as she did this,she had pulled out her katana and slashed at its side untill she stopped herside directly behind the monster. |
