@FGM: Chez, because he seems like a fine fellow.
Why does no one want to dine with me. I'm an excellent conversationalist. :'(

@anyone: Asami Imai. Because I want to hear her voice in person. It's simply majestic.
Never heard of her before, but after googling a video or two I have to agree that she has a great singing voice.
To think I would have never heard of her if I never got into the Katamari Damacy series. Quirky Japanese things lead to greatness more often than you'd think~

Katamari series -> Beautiful Katamari -> 'Danketsu' by IM@S ALLSTARS -> THE iDOLM@STER -> Chihaya Kisaragi -> Asami Imai

The rest sings for itself.

My wife plays the hell out of the Katamari series. The only one we don't own is the Vita version. :-)

There's a Vita one? I had only heard of Me & My Katamari back on PSP, which I never played. And Katamari Forever on PS3 was quite the letdown... I mean it was okay, but having already 100%'d Katamari Damacy, We Love Katamari, and Beautiful Katamari, it was like... this again? Okay... for like 90% of the game at least. The new music remixes were nice, though.

Yeah, Touch My Katamari. It's good, in the same way that Katamari is always sort of good, but there's not much there at all.

I bought Me & My Katamari for my wife...she was my girlfriend at the time and she spent most of a trip to Michigan with her head under her coat playing the game...she had no clue I was going to propose at the terminus of that drive. ;-)

She's not picky - she just likes Katamari. She'll play the same sections over and over and over. Hell, she's put in over 300 hours on Fable II and III.

Right. I can play Katamari over and over too, and I certainly don't mind the repetitive nature of the game. The simplicity is, after all, why I play in the first place. And of course the whole quirkyness factor and the music and the everything. Katamari Forever just got to me because it was a full retail game of mostly rehash. I felt slightly betrayed. It would be an amazing game if you had never touched the series before, but then again you'd be completely lost on the story if you cared about that part because you'd have no context and the game assumes you know things. I didn't 100% Katamari Forever, I just played through all the stages exactly once and never touched it again. Then I bought the soundtrack CDs and listen to those alllll the time.

I'll be honest, Katamari Forever is the one in the series that Marcie hasn't played to death.

Can I change my answer to have lunch with Jukain and Headwounds at the same time? Maybe have Arucard over for games with all of us afterward?

I'm an ass man.
I'd love to have dinner with you guys...

Anyway, to answer the question:::::::

Either Oscar Wilde, or Ayn Rand...

Having read most of their writing... I feel I could get a lot out of it, and they are both very very interesting.

If I was in a more serious mood - Ayn Rand, and if I felt a little flirtatious and less serious - Oscar Wilde.
Ooh Yeah!

Well, I never! Such a jump to conclusions, there, Colin!! Chez is a great guy, and I'm sure would make a wonderful friend. Doesn't have to be my boyfriend or anything, gawd. Besides, even if I did (and I don't), I already have a boyfriend, and that wouldn't be right.

...baka...

XD Oh god.

I am all for friendly dinners with no ulterior implications!

Except with Sero or Aru.

All kinds of implications there.

Tough one. My favorite biographies to read are generally those of royal mistresses of the past, and Nell Gwyn would be tempting because she was hilarious, and Madame du Barry because of how interesting her times were.

In other areas, Boudicca would be an interesting one (assuming we could have a translator), to learn the truth of the events of her rebellion and stuff about her culture.

The sister-in-law of Louis XIV, Elizabeth Charlotte, could be interesting and funny. I read a translation of her letters, which contain some hilarious and blunt commentary on that court, and she seems almost modern in some of her views.

If he was actually a real person: Yeshua ben Yosef. I would love to know exactly what he said and taught in that time.

If my first choice is a myth: Adolf Hitler. It would be fascinating to see what made him tick and why he was such a psychopath.
From what I hear, providing you avoid talking politics, they’re an absolute hoot.

Myself? I bet I could get Heraclitus to cheer up a bit, I'd go for a luncheon date with him.
