Pick one person, dead or living, to have dinner with.

Now I know you laff shack rejects' faces just lit up at this golden opportunity, but do me a favor and follow up any jokes with an actual answer. Thanks!

Abe Lincoln. Why? Because he's cool dude who doesn't afraid of anything. He's also got some pretty awesome conversation to be had.

One of his greatest lines is: If I had six hours to cut down a tree, I would spend four of them sharpening an axe.

This strikes me as a man of wisdom. I would love to take a couple of hours to hear what he has to say.

(For brevity: I would also introduce him to the fine art of ass lotioning!)

You guys.

If just one person, Headwounds, because if the dinner went anything like his interview, the results would be hilarious.

If we're discussing more famous people, then...David Foster Wallace, author. Look up "This is Water," and "Brief Interviews with Hideous Men." The man's been the single biggest influence on my writing there is, and he killed himself in 2008. I felt like a terrible fan for not knowing that until 2009.

I was going to post why, but I figured him being David Bowie was enough.

I thought for awhile about who I would choose. I'm a fan of many things. There's artists I admire, actors, directors, comedians, musicians, paleontologists (I'm a weird guy), historical figures, game developers, and authors. But, at the end of the day, David Bowie's music has affected my life more than most things, and also Labyrinth was badass.

It goes without saying that we all want to eat with each other.

You can say whatever you want, but if your fabric of reality crushing wish is to eat with someone, anyone on FGM, I'd say you're probably setting your sights kinda low.

The man is essentially the father of modern movies, in his time, he was at the forefront of technology and narrative in film. I would love to discuss his films with him, and it would be really interesting to see his views on how far movies have come over the years. This would be a long conversation, as he made hundreds of movies while he was alive.

I considered David Lynch, to essentially ask a whole lot of "Seriously, like, what the hell" questions, but I imagine he would tell me to fuck off and eat my Chilean sea bass.

I don't even like fish. David Lynch ordered for me :(

If he was actually a real person: Yeshua ben Yosef. I would love to know exactly what he said and taught in that time.

If my first choice is a myth: Adolf Hitler. It would be fascinating to see what made him tick and why he was such a psychopath.

I wouldn't have lunch with any famous person, tbh. Every famous person I've met has made the conversation feel so forced that it doesn't even matter to me. *Shrugs*

I would probably just have it with my co-worker/Friend. lol

Actually, I want to change my answer. I want to have lunch with Christina Hendricks...and I want to spike her drink with roofies.

This question took a lot of thinking for me. I would have to say Anthony Kiedis.
The man's music has [without trying to sound too cliche] saved me in many situations. His lyrics honestly speak to me, the way he tells his personal stories about how he survived a lifetime of addictions and dangers...I'd just love a chance to talk about how similar our addictive personalities are, and how he has conquered them, etc.

Kind of serious, meh. The question made me all introspective and whatnot =P

Yeah, maybe I should have put some weight on the question, like a job interview or something where you can't tell potential employers that you want to date rape celebrities.

Yeah but without a killer resume and experience, good luck actually getting called to a professional date rapist interview.

Another one I considered. But I just know he'd insist Yoko be invited.

I think that speaks volumes about Ms. Ono that I would pass up a dinner with John Lennon just because of her presence in said scenario.

My kid when she is around my age.

I'd love to see what kind of person she'll be by then, especially considering I could very well be dead by that point... and even if I'm not, it's going to be a long wait.

All my apathy for famous people.

Weight on an internet forum question? You could've made it sound as serious as shit and my mind will still take it some place dark and disturbing...just because it's my sense of humour.

@anyone: Asami Imai. Because I want to hear her voice in person. It's simply majestic.

Never heard of her before, but after googling a video or two I have to agree that she has a great singing voice.
