Actually they have shields in Son of Sparda mode too, but yeah - quite annoying.

Haha what a fun video. What a difference it makes, when the person in the video is having a good time, as opposed to sounding like they are doing a chore.

Two questions.

1) Are there any enemies unique to higher difficulty levels or is it all the same ones just a little remixed.

2) Anyone else ready for Vergil's Downfall? :D

Hmm.. As Chez mentioned, there's the Frost knights with shields, other than that the answer is both yes and no.

Basically, all of the enemies (even though they have the same models as enemies from previous levels) behave completely differently, they have a different moveset, they attack much more aggessively, they block, and of course there are generic boosts to their damage output and damage reduction.

In addition - they gain an extra buff. If you take too long to kill an enemy (and sometimes that isn't very long at all), they get this yellow whirlwind around their body, and from that point onward, nothing you do will interrupt the enemy.

Ooooouch. That second point could be a doozy, especially with the chainsaw guys. (My most hated enemy)

By comparison to most of the enemy pairings in DMD mode, the chainsaw guys are probably one of the easiest!

Probably the hardest are when you get several blademasters and witches at the same time.
Blademasters in DMD mode are comparably powerful to

in Nephilim mode.

I won't watch for spoilers (On level 17 on Son of Sparda Mode), but as I've stated before, I just love this level!
By far the best in the game, with level 1 a coming in second.

A really good thing about this game is that no level just flat out sucks. One or 2 can get a little tedious, but they did a good job with the pacing of the levels for the mission structure. Really helps me in the shooting for SSS rank department.
