I'm looking for a new TV show to marathon, and I'm looking for something funny. It doesn't have to be on Netflix. Don't recommend Sienfeld or The Simpsons or something like that. Of course I've seen that shit already.

Misfits- Not a total comedy, there are some great story bits and the characters are really good, but when it is funny, it's hilarious, available on Hulu for free

30 Rock- One of the funniest things currently on television, Netflix

Freaks and geeks- short lived Judd Apatow comedy show, you've probably seen it, but just in case, Netflix

Trailer Park Boys - Watched the first two episodes. Really did not dig it. I hear it gets much better, but I can't find the motivation to watch it again.

Misfits - Never heard of it. I'll have to look into it.

30 Rock - I can't stand Tina Fey.

Freaks and Geeks - Indeed I have seen it. Gone too soon.

"Inbetweeners. It's on Netflix, it's Briti-"

Stop right there. Fuck that.

I watched the first few episodes of The Larry Sanders Show. I've heard good things about it over the years and it seems pretty good so far. Very ahead of its time.

Don't stop suggesting things though, I'll need something to watch next.

Yaaaay! Like most shows it picks up as episodes go on too.

One of my all time favorites.

Mr Show is another one I enjoy but I can't find it on netflix. :(

"Hank, if you were a rapper, what would your rap name be?"

"Umm. Hank the Rapper."

That made me laugh harder than it was supposed to I think.

Can I say That 70's Show? I've been watching that one since I've been buying it off Amazon and it's hilarious.

TPB isn't for everyone but it's more than low brow slapstick idiot guys that curse a lot, IF that's all you got out of it.
When you get into it more you find that it's actually a surprisingly thoughtful show. It definitely gets a lot better but really doesn't kick into gear until season 2, so might asking a lot to give it that much of a chance. For me it's one of my favorite shows of all time. Ricky being the greatest character of all time.

Yep. I think it's a funny show, but I don't have quite the level of love for it that some people do.

I've seen every season many times other than the last one, which I'll never watch. Love it.

I'm certainly familiar with shows that start slow. Parks and Recreation, just about my favorite show on TV, has a thoroughly underwhelming 6 episode first season. Something about TPB though put me off. I can't even put my finger on it. I'm not against watching it, but I can't picture the words "I'm going to watch Trailer Park Boys" coming out of my mouth.

Fun fact: I live a 20 minute walk from the trailer park the show originated in. They got the boot as the 'landlord,' didn't want the controversy of the show drawing negative attention. They eventually just built their own fictional park when the show was successful enough to afford it, also somewhat nearby.

Edit: I lied. That fact wasn't very fun. I just wanted to sound important.

I have no idea what any of these shows are, and I feel like some sort of fool

Why not check out Columbo? That show was awesome. It's about this detective, who plays the fool to catch his suspects.

All roads eventually lead back to The Three Stooges.

I enjoy watching Psych, although the newer episodes are not nearly as good as the old.

Workaholics is good too.

Parks and Rec i enjoy as well.
