![]() When you see that setup, do you think Hot? Or Not? To me, That's the shit. One dumbfuck in the forum where I found that pic is such a fucking dickhole fuck... "is that electric tape oh gross" fucking asshole. Here's the original thread: http://www.drifting.com/forums/off-topic-forum/30668-forza-motorsport-4-vs-gran-turismo-5-a.html He added a handbrake and shifter and clutch to the Xbox 360 wheel, and it looks like he did that before Fanatec had some of the better wheels available, and he says how he'd rather spend the money on his actual car than a wheel for a game. That's awesome. What kind of soulless fuck would knock that? If I ever get to be such a dick where I say stupid shit like that about something like that please knock me down. |

It does look pretty sweet, but I wouldn't use it myself unless it was tidied up a bit - I would paint the desk, and tape etc. all black so at least it was one colour. Then I would be happy. Also I would put the gear knob / handbrake on the correct side of the steering wheel. |

You mean the sinister side. I'm just saying, it's Latin. Latin is never wrong. Anyways, I'm in to functionality and ingenuity over aesthetics. I appreciate something that looks good, but to me its even more interesting when its in it's raw form like that. EDIT: Shit I guess it's not Latin. El Sinister... wait that's Spanish. |

I can understand that... However, I am the exact opposite. While I appreciate the raw form, after a day or two it would drive me crazy... I'd have to at least paint it, or buy a black desk.Always wanted a racing setup though. Wish I had the $£$ (and space) to spare. |

I just got my ultimate dream wheel yesterday in fact.. which is one reason I stumbled upon that pic and that forum. The space isn't too bad, it's a heavy setup but very easily picked up and moved, hardly any wires to deal with. no cockpit but a nice stand. |

My main problem is that I game in the living room. Just moved into a new house (few months ago) and have an extra bedroom. The plan is (at some point next year) to convert it into a gaming sanctuary. I should leave one Xbox downstairs (wife likes netflix/iplayer), but the other one is going into my sanctuary, with a new TV, couch (possibly) and the future potential for actual gaming setups!!! Gaming chairs, fightsticks, wheels!!! Of course, it may never happen, and the room could end up as a spare room for family/friends, but I'd much rather have the gaming sanctuary... Only problem at the moment is the $$$. |

Yeah, the only real issue is the spare bed... But, I'm sure the wife wouldn't mind me chucking it out.How is your setup with Forza? Everytime I play Forza 4 I think about how much better it would be with a wheel/ |

It's crazy. So fun. Needs some adjustments tough...GT5 was giving me a ton more force feedback, I must have it turned down in Forza, or maybe the firmware upgrade of the wheel is what did it. I stumbled on that topic looking for what people thought about the differences between Forza and GT. Personally, I think you have to be stupid to hate either one, and stupid to not enjoy both if you can. And with Forza Horizon, that game just caps it off, an arcade like game for another change of pace. Edited by CapwnD, Nov 21 2012, 03:47 AM.
