I could have bought those movies on bluray by now with the money I spent on Netflix.

I got Scarface on Blu Ray yesterday, thought I haven't opened it yet. I already have it on DVD, but I got the Blu Ray because my DVD is a 4:3 copy instead of widescreen. It was a choice between Scarface on Blu Ray or The Bourne Identity. I love Bourne Identity, but I already have it on DVD.

If you want the most impressive blurays, get the newer movies.

Old movies look pretty good when done on bluray, but the sound just doesn't compare to movies that were released since Bluray/HDDVD was a thing. I guess if you don't have 5.1 or more then the sound won't make a difference.

Scott PIlgrim is great, Tron and Prometheus are great. Fight Club, Matrix box set with Animatrix (sooo good), and Star Wars box set... those are the essentials.

Pixar movies and animated movies are absolutely amazing too. Anything. Toy Story 3 and Up is what I would get.

Gorilla I bought that on Bluray too. Such a great movie.

I made the mistake of trying to watch it with english dub the first time... big mistake. I stopped about 15 minutes into it. I dont' know why I bothered watching it again but with the regular audio and subtitles and it's so good.

Shaolin Soccer with those same people is really good too. But Kung Fu Hustle.. omg.

I'm planning on getting newer movies on Blu Ray. I already have Scott Pilgrim and The Avengers. The next one I wanna get is The Dark Knight Trilogy, which would make my new Batman Begins DVD useless; I haven't opened it and I only bought it because A) my other copy was 4:3 and B) it was only $5.

I never watch them in English dubs either. I saw Shaolin Soccer a while back because my brother watches a lot of this type of movie.

If I ever get older movies on Blu Ray, it'll be Pixar movies or Hayao Miyazaki animes (assuming any of them are on Blu Ray).

No.

Star Trek and Planet Earth are the most impressive blu ray I've seen.

So Fools Rush In wouldn't be any different in Blu- Ray then?

The only blu-ray to own is The Fifth Element.

You could probably see their emotions a little clearer.
