I'm an ass man.
So, lately I've been watching Weeds on Netflix, but they only have series 1 through 3. It's good, but I don't have that much desire to watch all the time. Is it worth finding/buying the more recent series?
Ooh Yeah!

Honestly? Not really. But I can't say how great your level of interest is in the show.

For example: I like Big Bang Theory. But I don't go out of my way to catch new episodes on Thursdays, I watch them On Demand when they're convenient for me.

See what I'm saying? If your interest in the show is so high that you're dying to know what happens next, then that can override my recommendation of just watching it on Netflix as opposed to going out and buying it.

Or you can just ask Gabe and he'll find you all the seasons on DVD for twelve cents.

I am enjoying the show. Loved the first 2 series, watched them pretty much back to back. But the third series, hasn't clicked. I dunno if I'm just burned out on it, or if it isn't as good. I watch roughly one episode a week at the moment.

Just curious if it picks up, or is unmissable later on. May be worth the effort.
Ooh Yeah!

Seasons 1 through 3 are excellent, but it gets progressively worse from 4 on.

Cool... Think i'll give it up.

Haven''t got much desire to watch, just didn't want to be missing anything that matched the first 2 series.

It's bar none the best drama I've ever seen.
My favourite show is actually Dexter, but Breaking Bad is the most realistic (in terms of human drama and emotions)

I saw the first few and it looked good.... but really? Does it get that good? Felt a little like Weeds on steroids.

Nah man, it is by far the most invested I have ever been in a drama. I've watched it through 3 times.

Sun's Right.
That's the thing about the show - it starts off really subtle, and steadily grows in intensity.

So far I think my most reveared series has been Sopranos. I've watched it front to back about 5 times now, and currently on season 5 or so of another watching.

Honestly? Breaking Bad measures up with The Sopranos.
And trust me, I love me some Sopranos.

HBO knows how to do their shows, thinking about it =P Curb Your Enthusiasm, Game of Thrones and Boardwalk Empire are epic as well.

How does it compare to The Wire?

That's my most loved show...

Well, that and Buffy.

I loved Weeds as a whole, but the final episode was so bad. Soooo so bad. Oh well. It was still good. The show, I mean. Not the last episode.

...Well, that and Buffy.
Ehh, maybe GOOD television isn't going to suit you after all.
Perhaps you should check out some 'Charmed', or maybe some 'Sabrina the Teenage Witch' instead?

Buffy is one of those Joss Whedon series that I've always wanted to watch, but always find something else to view instead.

From what I hear, Colin, it's actually quite good. I've had a few friends who were really into it.
