Let's just hope that they don't censor Assface. He's the best character.

I will say one thing, though:

The second Jedi Knights and Sith Lords bust out in song & dance, I'm walking right out of the theater.

Ive been thinking about this, what if they get Joss Whedon to direct and co-write episode 7? I would spend all of my money watching the movie every day.
I'd pay good money to keep that over-rated hack away from Star Wars. He can't even keep a shitty sci-fi show like Firefly on the air for a full season.

Joss Whedon made Cabin in the Woods, The Avengers, and Firefly. Rupert Murdoch fucked Firefly, not Whedon.

Also, the Science channel has been running Firefly: Browncoats Reunite,
kind of a reunion of the cast recently. Haven't seen it yet, but I plan on catching it at some point.

Just keep JJ Abrams away from it. Star Trek was good for a reboot, but I just know he'd pull some Lost style bullcrap.

The SW lore is so massive and well made (compared to some other stuff, although not everything related to EU is a winner) that it'd be difficult to screw up Episode 7. As long as the story is good and well acted, I'm not too worried... I know it will focus on action (Prequel trilogy) as opposed to emotion (original trilogy), I accept that for todays audience.

Also, I heard Paramount still has Indiana Jones. Just something to ponder.

I thank Rupert Murdoch for saving us from being inflicted with any more Firefly than was already shown.

I agree with Abrams though - he did okay with Star Trek, but I don't want him touching Star Wars. I was worried he'd bring Star Trek down to the level of Lost, but he treated it with respect...and lens flare.

I'd KILL to have J. Michael Straczynski get a shot at Star Wars. If you want a sequel trilogy to be deep, emotional, and action-packed, get that guy. A JMS Star Wars would be insanely awesome.

Abrams killed it with the Trek. As a Trekkie, I was very pleased, but I third the "hell no" for a J.J. Star Wars.

I do want Cloverfield 2, and for him to be involved in Mission Impossible 5, though.

If they went against what they said and went th Katarn route...who would you cast as Kyle, Mara Jade, Dash Rendar, and Dark Jedi: Jeric.

I'd prefer the Thrawn trilogy.

Bryce Dallas Howard for Mara Jade, most certainly.

I think Matthew Vaughn would do a great job with Star Wars, I loved X-Men: First Class and Kick Ass, plus he produced almost every Guy Ritchie film, I think he would do a great job with it.

One of my friends said Nolan would do great job, and I don't really see it, the guy is all about realism and limited CGI. That works for movies like Momento and Batman, but I think he would just ruin it by making it far too gritty and he would probably remove tons things in an attempt to make things more realistic, I can see it now "Those aliens have got to go, and those glowie light blade things? Turn them into swords"

I love Lucas for his creation.

I hate him for how he raised it.

Does that make sense?

Who would win in a fight, Tigger, or Yoda

I vote Tigger

Maybe this could lead to a MvC type game
My ultimate team would be Tigger / Assmouth

Lucas is indeed a mixed bag for me.
Apparently Mr. Skywalker had no fucking clue 'till we did, when the news stories came out. I actually lol'd.

I love the fact that Lucas thought he struck gold with the idea of Jar Jar, put him in almost every damn scene in Episode 1, realized his folly almost instantly, and by Episode 3 he was just a cameo appearence.

Lucas had a couple of very good ideas back in the late 70's/early 80's... but not much since then.
