It seems introductions are in order. I do not know Mary, but it seems like she (I'm assuming here, but I'm confidant) is quite the awesome person.

So I dunno if you've heard but I finally found a job. jester::

It's menial work but I'm getting paid good, at least better than I was at Wal Mart, and it's in a field I just recently got into and am loving: Programming. :D

Got the job through a friend who's the CTO of the company. See what patience rewards you with? jester:: jester:: (Watch out, I use that emote a lot, like...a lot)

Yeah i'm totally satisfied with how they look on my car. The best part was that it was only (and i don't mean it's a piffly amount of money, but rather than rims can be quite expensive) 1100 for the 4 rims and brand new tires to fit on them.

That's a really good deal. Tires alone cost almost that much for my husbands car :/

Ouch. I remember my uncles Toyota ute had 300 per tyre, tyres.

i can't believe i was considering getting a new (used) car. I love my car to bits.

To tell you the quick story, my car had a leak, and you know how you know that something isn't right you get that gut feeling "i don't remember that stain there before"? well i thought it was oil, turned out to be power steering fluid and I was pretty much dry and the prognosis was a dead steering rack, which would've been 650 dollars.

I need to know, so I drop it in for a quote, then an hour later I get a phone call "yep, it's fixed. Not the rack, just a seal behind the switch and it's 90 dollars"

That just made me remember how reliable my car is, and I decided to get rims instead of a new (used) one.

Nice one, bud. Had a near miss like this a couple of weeks ago myself. I don't use my motorbike too much anymore, but it was time for it's MOT & service. The guy was on the fence about an issue with my exhaust. Had he decided he couldn't do a decent enough bodge-job it would have cost me half a grand or so. Luckily, the good outcome happened and I was able to get the service, MOT and an effective bodge job for about £170 overall.

And your car really suits those rims, bud.

Definitely luck smiling on us, good friend.

And thanks, I really think they suit it to hell and back. I just chuckle a little when I think they those exact rims, were the ones that caught my eye more than any other, and that was before I was told that they were pretty much my only option.

Got an awesome Neo Geo
Got awesome rims for the car
And now a Neo Geo cab for 500 dollars.

Love at first sight so rarely works out in a tangible way like that. Awesome result!

Same with the Neo Geo cab. I've seen heaps of auctions but this one really felt like it was mine, as you saw as i referred to it as my time.

To top it off, the guy is letting me pay a deposit, then the rest in a week when i get my tax return AND he's going to store it in his garage until I organise a ute and pick it up.

Some really good results this week.
