I preferred having the old video player, and none of the suggestions which I have seen to access it have worked. I've seen people recommend to use the guide button , then video player. But that does not work for me. It offers me to watch them in zune, external source, pc etc.

Now that Zune is deleted, the 360 has gone back to using the original method to watch them. I think I had a music video or two that I left there, in case I decide to re-download it. Does anyone have a solution to using the original video player, while keeping Zune?

Oh man I haven't watched a video on my 360 that wasn't on Netflix in years.

Yeah. I like to download them because for the past couple of years, I watch them with my friend every now and again on the TV. I have to admit that I do prefer the old marketplace. Not saying one is better than another, it was just better for me. I could go into the marketplace, immediately know what I hadn't checked out before, and could get to everything that was worthwhile to me from the one section. Takes longer now, minor gripe, but blah. BLAH!

*shakes finger at you*

BLAH!!!!

That Deja Vu game actually looks pretty cool... I remember seeing it in the stores when it came out because of that cover.

Microsoft has a way of finding out exactly what I like about their interface on the 360, and doing the opposite. I remember finding a piece of data on my HDD called "Xbox Improvement Program" or something like that. Could that be the problem? Am I on some list that says "Opposite" somewhere? Are they tracking my smiles via Kinect and changing everything I like?

I liked what I played of it. It so rare to randomly pick a good game.

These games from your old collection? If not how are you acquiring these titles?

You're talking about this, right:

Which is obviously what this is based off of:

When I said my backlog was hundreds of games long, I'm wasn't exaggerating :)

For the purposes of footage though, I'm using an emu.

I'm so confused. I thought we were talking about the movie with Denzil Washington, Deja Vu.

Anyways, I prefer Foobar 2000 for music on PC. Hope that helps OP!

But seriously... so you want Zune on your 360 for the marketplace, but you don't want the Zune player? I didn't know it makes you use a zune player.

Have you tried Amazon video? If you have amazon Pime then it's almost like netflix but not as good, plus you can buy or rent whatever isn't free.
