Did you have to modify your hack on your 360? I was reading people saying that they had to do something so microsoft wouldn't know that they were playing the game. I don't have a modded 360 or I might have downloaded it. I can't wait til 11-10-09. |

I have no Idea. Some of my friends got banned in the ban wave yesterday (30th) but i didnt. Its really weird. i was expecting to but i didnt, so i guess we'll see how long I will last. 2nd ban wave ive survived. Anyways, the game is great. Its cod4 x 1000. More perks, more guns, more challenges, more xp. Wayyyyy bigger maps, wayyy more detailed. Challenges for Perks is new, you complete the all the challenges for it and the perk gives a special bonus. The FAMAS is the new M16 (feels similar to Counter-strike back in day). Cons: Just like a was worried about before....the killstreaks. Good when you have them, terrible when they are against you. If you want to know what the 25 kill streak is just let me know and ill post it, I actually was astonished. Killstreaks now stack, they dont dissapear when you get a new higher one. Played against some of tthe guys from FeaR today (they are bad and they camp so hard its lame). IW guys are awesome, clearly have been playing for a while. Interestingly, I played with N2D Godfather too, he has the game some how. He is pretty damn good already, although he was level 36 at the time. Spec ops is probably the coolest thing ever. It takes levels from the campaign and creates challenges and objectives you have to complete. This can be played solo, split screen and 2 player co-op online. They all have 3 difficulty levels you can attempt to complete. Ive played 2 levels of singleplayer so far, its epic. Oh and by the way i played with the highest level dude today and he was level 57... Not sure if they are going to reset the stats at launch but I think it would be fair to everyone else if they did. They did reset it for cod5 last year if i remember correctly. Either way I wouldnt worry about it, I went 20-8 my first game playing basic classes. Level 13 online right now because I couldnt play much tonight. Ill let you know if I think of anything else |

Fenix Im using a different tag: InAndAroundYou ya so the 25 kill streak is tactical nuke. I haven't seen it yet but I want to try it in a private match. I says in the description of it that it ends the game but i can hardly believe that it would. One man army? I'm not sure what that is. Spec ops mode gets REALLY hard eventually as you progress. I wish it was up to 4 player co-op but its only 2. Probably about 2000 peopole who are ranked and the highest last time I checked was 66. Since im not playing with my tag im just basically trying every gun and perk online. |

If this is true, I like it. Great idea, it will keep the spirit of those gamemodes to what they are supposed to be. |

Yes every gametype Ive played prtevents you from playing in an external chat party except for team deathmatch and Free for all Krazy, I know its a sketchy copy. I knew ODST was sketchy too but still didn'tt get banned. I thinik ill selll this xbox and buy a new one just to be on the safe side. No way I can survive the banhammer much longer. Oh and from what I heard the statts are resetting at launch. |

Badour, so it switches you to the game channel but it leaves you in the party? Does it then switch you back to party channel automatically? And between matches, you're stuck in game channel I imagine... correct? |

I think this is a smart move. When COD4 was made there was no party chat so there was no need to ban it. But with game modes that switch your ability to talk with alive and dead teammates, this was a good and logical choice. It still doesn't keep people from communicating in other ways (ie IM or PSN) but that's all they can do. This game looks awesome and I think I'll start off with Single Player and Spec-ops and then start to work on MP. |

I agree Fenix. Plus, it makes sense for the other objective based games, because that way, I think the idea is that people will not be in parties, so there should be more teamwork. I think it's a great idea, but I can already see the forums having a hissy fit about it. |

It's amazing how many "innocent" people are having their xbox's banned. Some guy actually admitted to playing a game early and still was baffled why he was banned. He kept saying that he has taken down a reference to being "gay" in his bio. Hey buddy...that's not why you were banned. Also, a lot of people have been playing the games offline from XBL and when they reconnect, they get banned. MS is getting pretty smart at this. |

Finally got banned. Getting a new xbox tomorrow, should be playing MW2 again by the weekend. None of my GTs got banned so im going back to Badour when i get my xbox remodded. |

Does it brick your xbox or just get the GT you were playing under banned from XBL? Or does it ban that specific xbox from XBL? I have a feeling next Tuesday I'll be wrecked at work after no sleep. |

My GT is fine (even the temp one), i tested it on my friends xbox. It just disables the live accessibility on your xbox. So i can still play all my burnt games offline. So im going to finish MW2 single player campaign tonight. |

Wait, why are you going to play MW2 again and risk it? I had one question.. does the disabled party chat just put you in game channel? Then does it switch you back to party chat at all? Or you just stay in game channel, then switch back to party when you leave that gamemode? |

The FAMAS you get right away at level 1 just like the M16 in Cod4. The M16 in Mw2 doesn't unlock until level 40. I picked it up once its pretty good, but by that time I had all the unlocks for the FAMAS and was using Bling for holographic sight (a better version of the red dot) and FMJ ammo which gave more damage. Bling is awesome once you have completed most of the challenges for a gun. Silence M4 + holographic = beast. Edited by Badour, Nov 6 2009, 12:58 PM.

I'm so glad that they have changed the perks this time around and have gotten rid of martyrdom. The new perks or unlocks seem really interesting and I can't wait to play it. How fast are you able to rank up? I'm guessing that with the new high level that it will take longer to reach the highest level. |
