Just a little bit over a month to go. I really hope it will be the greatest game of all time and not a letdown. Just don't know why they didnt do a public beta like the other ones. Maybe they are hiding something or its got a lot balancing issues. In the recent videos it shows air support coming in every 10 seconds from either team. Thats going to go both ways...."AWESOME" or "BULLSHIT" I jsut hope its not all killstreaks.... That will only encourage camping and terrible gameplay....Dogs in WaW x 2 |

They don't need a public BETA. For CoD 4 they did. They wanted to test stuff like matchmaking and glitches. They got the network code down and they flew some mapMonkeys to LA to find the glitches. I'm happy there is no BETA. Since there is no BETA, I want to play this game even more. |

for once i agree with monkey. yea i said it. it cause of the cod4 beta that i didnt want to buy that game either. i thought the beta was horrible but the game came out pretty good. i probly wont get it right away since i havent pre ordered it yet but i will when i can find a copy. |

I can't wait until October 4th. They will announce something huge. The dudes at mapMonkeys are teasing me about it. They signed a NDA so they can't tell anyone anything. They said it was their favourite part of the game. Let's hope it's big. |

The game hasen't even gone gold yet. They are obviously still trying to fix some balancing issues...and glitch issues if Krazy's info is correct. Clearly they are working on something that can't be simply added or removed in a patch. Im glad they are taking their time to perfect the game but its got me worried it might be very unbalanced gameplay with all this new stuff they are putting in. I'm gonna play the shit out of this game regardless. But i'm sure it will be clear right off the bat what will be the dominant guns (m16, p90, mp5 in cod4). As for the big thing announced on October 4th (Weird for it to happen on a Sunday btw), i'm curious as to what this is if in fact your source is reliable. Edit: Doing a quick google search shows that they are in fact releasing a new trailer on sunday... My guess is a detailed video of spec ops mode...with built in challenges and actually xp. Actually i'm almost positive it will be showing spec ops mode. Especially since krazy's mapmonkey friends thtought it was their favorite part. Edited by Badour, Oct 1 2009, 01:22 AM.

Speaking of calling the cops on people, I had Homeland Security interview me yesterday about photographing planes taking of and landing at a municipal airport in Mesa, AZ. What I did was not illegal but they just wanted to find out why I was shooting video. I told them that I work at a tv station and they checked things out and I was on my way. Nothing like that to scare the crap out of you. |

The video will come out during some football game tonight. It will be a SP trailer. The guys at mM can't say if their fav feature was MP or SP. All they could say was that we have to wait.... Well, I bet their fav feature was in MP and that will be released closer to launch. |

You think so? I still think it will be a spec ops trailer. Did anyone check the achievements for Modern Warfare 2? they are up on the internet. I skipped through the single player achievments to avoid spoiling anything but a lot of the achievements involve spec ops. I'm actually really looking forward to spec ops its going to be pretty sweet. Although I'm not sure if i will play it too much at the beginning, maybe after my first prestige.... oh ya and apparently MW2 has gone gold. So the game should be finished? I couldn't agree with you more. That basically showed that the single player will be really similar to that of cod4. Even the guy narrating sounds similar to the dude we all hear in the intro to cod4 when you pop the disk in. I guess they don't want everyone know much about spec ops? in my opinion thats what will help make this game of the year. I really liked the other single player trailer (E3 i think) a lot more. |
