I'm a huge GI Joe fan, and a fan of the comics and all that... they didn't slaughter the story too much. It was about what I expected. I'll probably get it on Bluray if I get it at a good price. if not, then DVD. After watching the movie, I had to redeem myself so I bought some graphic novels of the comics online... Don't ask how much I spent. It was an impulse buy.

I guess I got my hopes up cuz they did a decent job with Transformers (the first one...i still havent' seen the second one). oh well....what can ya do. I'm def waiting for bluray on Netflix.

It's the darkest cartoon they've ever made. Haximo pointed out that the worst he's seen in the cartoons was where Duke hurt his leg or something. He wasn't not shot, just fell or something like that. In Resolute, it starts off with Major Blood laying there dead in a pool of blood! (not really a spoiler, it's right at the beginning)

I had no idea it was coming or anything, We were flipping stations and just thought we'd check it out. I thought it was going to be one of those CG things. But it wasn't, and it was probably the best cartoon GI Joe movie ever. I'm sure it's on the internet...

Cobra still have major problems with their aiming skills though. LOL that one scene where the black Joe guns down cobra in the back while cackiling like a madman was very un-joe-like though. LOL...but funny.
