Actually you were suspended for 24 hours for the offensive motto : "f*¥k you pay us." Your current bio is fine. lol. Like this. People try being such schiesters when they know exactly what they did. |

It's amazing how many people are being banned for playing games early. They all have the same answer ( I bought it at a store or I got it at a game rental place). People are even posting pictures saying they have proof only to have other people say that they know who took those pictures. It's quite amusing. fenix |

I'm sure for the pics they're just copying the same exact link... they need to download the image and host it themselves through Imageshack so that the file name isn't exactly the same. |

I have a feeling that pre-release copies have a certain serial number that is associated with them for tracking and security purposes. I know that all dvd screeners sent to Academy members have things on them that can identify whose copy is whose. When dvd screeners get leaked the Academy knows whose copy is posted in the internet and the repercussions are stiff. I'm guessing that game manufacturers are doing the same thing. If a store sells one early and it gets ripped then I'm guessing they can somewhat track where it originated from. Not that there is much they can do after it is out. Also, the post above is interesting because he wasn't banned from XBL but from the online access to Forza 3. It should be interesting how Microsoft and manufacturers try to outwit the pirates because it seems that companies are always one step behind online pirates. |

Ya screeners are watermarked to track specific copies given out. As for xbox games, to my knowledge there is no such marking. Because if that was the case then it would be REALLY easy for microsoft to ban people and figure out who has a pirated copy. I always wondered why they dont put specific serials on xbox games or include a code in retail game packaging to activate the game. Like a CD key for PC games. But then again...doing that for millions of copies probably cost money and time. |
