Just played this today and I have to say its one of the best baseball games I've ever played. Maybe even the best sports game on the 360 right now. I haven't started the career mode yet but I played 5 games with my buddy on the same console and its really cool. I never played the first one but I heard it was good so I decided to check it out. The graphics are amazing and the player models look damn impressive. I'd recommend it to anyone who loves baseball or likes to play it. I personally don't watch the sport that often but I used to play it back in the day. |

I love baseball. This game is actually good? I didnt like the first one because i tend to like baseball simulators over arcade style baseball games. I'm gonna have to research it |

Ya it depends what you like. It definitely has that arcade feel to it... Theres this game mode called "home run pinball" where its like a homerun derby but its in the middle of a street (ones in vegas, one is in Times Square and one is in Japan). The object of it is to hit the ball into the signs/bilboards that line the street. The targets are worth different amount of points, there are also bonuses that you can unlock by hitting the appropriate sign. Theres points x2,x3, 25k/50/75k instant points, multiball (really sick) and pitching frenzy which gives you a set of fast pitches that are easy to hit. There is a leaderboard for the different levels and you can also play it co-op or against another person in the same game. Thats one of like 5 or 6 game modes. Other notable ones are Career (season mode) and Become a Legend where you build your own player (starting in Mexico) and work your way up to the big leagues. |

alright Badour, you were right dude. I played the demo on the ps3 repeatedly last night. I think I'm gonna buy this game. Thanks for the heads up |
