Adam was still braced for the recoil of his own spell when he noticed that his opponent was conjuring a spell as well. At that very instant, both spells were fired from their casters and rushed at each other, each carrying the force of the freight train behind it. The clash of the two spells was met with nothing short of explosive results. As the crimson red bird continued to push on to try to pierce his heart, lightning continued to flow from his blade, pushing back against the spell. For a few moments, the two spells held each other at bay, throwing off shock-waves that ravaged the room around the two magi as both magi attempted to overpower the other.

Then, as quickly as they had appeared, the spells both burst, throwing out a final shock-wave that hit Adam in the chest. The force was great enough to have knocked him down without a problem, but the adrenaline running through his system wouldn't allow for that. Pushed back off his feet, Adam reached out with his feet, trying to grip the ground until he landed, skidding back a meter before stopping. If lightning didn't work, he had other options available. Drawing the blade across his body, the sword was suddenly engulfed in flames. He hoped that he could launch another spell before his opponent could recover. "Kashin Shourai!"

Making a wide arc with the blade, the flames leaped from the metal and into the air as a concentrated stream. Spiraling forward, it rushed at the other magus, carrying Adam's intent to kill with it. Adam could feel it. He had never drawn this much power out of his magic circuits before. It wasn't a comfortable feeling. It wasn't like he cared though at this point. This bastard had to pay for his crimes.

In the Grail room

As the 2 spells clashed Andrew couldn't help but be a little impressed. It seemed the young magus may have been powerful enough to obtain the Grail through the course of a normal, but those thoughts quickly faded as the spells finally went critical. As the shock wave surged forth Andrew was pushed back a single step, but nothing more. As he watched his opponent recover from the same shock wave, and readied another spell a sigh escaped Andrew's lips as the flames surged forth. "Is that all you have to offer?" asked Andrew as he took a relaxed stance as took a deep breath, and began to chant "I let thou flow, angel's breath!". As the last word escaped Andrew let out a long breath, and wind began to flow inside the room. At first Adam's spell seemed to flicker, but in a few mere moments the spell lost all of it's bite, and finally the last spark flickered out. But Andrew wasn't done yet as the air surged towards Adam in the form of a series of barely visible blades.

Outside

As Simone, and Celeste began their run across the field the Shadows left from Ryu's first attack poured out of the Church. At first the group of magus still remaining at the front door offered a buffer as they fought to avenge those that just fell. But as their mana ran low the Shadows began to cut them down with ease. If someone stopped to watch they could watch the brutal ways the magus die. Some met a quick end by fang, and claw, but most had a small amount of the mud flow into their bodies, and where slowly eaten from the inside out. As the last magus met either fate the remaining Shadows caught a glimpse of the pair as they darted out of sight. If they thought they escaped notice the howls of the Shadows cutting through the air would prove that assumption wrong.

At the Edge of the City wide barrier

When Abbiah fled from the Church she didn't notice a single glob of tainted of mud take the form of a raven, and followed her to Ryu's home. As she closed the door behind her the raven landed on the roof, and watched the sky expectantly. In a few moments the reason became apparent as a flock of black raven's appeared in the sky, and made a direct path to Ryu's home. Inside Abbiah could hear a tapping on the home's windows, but before she could check the sound of cracking glass replaced the tapping. In a loud crash the raven's began to pour into the house from the shattered windows. It would seem the actions of Ryu had not gone unnoticed, and had found a way to even the score.

Inside the Church Stairwell

As Ryu's vision was stolen from him visions began to appear in his mind. At first it was an aerial shot at the City, but then it slowly began to zoom in on one point. If his mind was still sharp he would notice the area looked familiar, but if he didn't pick up the cues he would surely notice his own home. As the zoom increased it closed in on a window, but then the cause of the zoom became clear as the glass showed what was sending the image. It was one of the Ravens as they began their attack on his home, and he was forced to watch the events of the attack happen in real time.

Andrew's attacks came as swift as the wind itself after he effectively nullified Adam's spell. Although the youth was surprised enough by the uselessness of his fire spell, the adrenaline pumping through his veins and the mana flowing through his circuits wouldn't let him slow down for a moment to think about it. Although his eyes could hardly make out the blades of air that were being sent hurling at him, he was already moving to defend himself from them. "Fuuka Shourai!" The shield of concentrated wind grew around him in a fraction of a second. He looked up at his opponent with a grin as he remembered how many magi had attempted to break that shield and had failed. It was time for him to gain the upper hand.

As the first of the wind blades crashed against the shield though, Adam's smirk vanished as the shield shook from the impact. Although the blade dissipated after the impact, it had hit with more force than he had thought it would. As the blades continued to batter the shield, Adam gritted his teeth as he tried to maintain the spell. Finally, as another blade hit the shield though, the crack that had been growing shattered, shattering the shield and it popped like a balloon. As the shield broke, Adam's feet left the ground as it seemed like the combined force of the attack slammed into him, knocking him clear out of where the shield had been.

Landing on his back on the ground, Adam quickly rolled to the side as the tainted mud flowed over where he had been. Now on his stomach, he looked up at the cursed chalice that was the cause of all of this. The previous rage that had guided him was quickly leaving his body, being replaced by fatigue, as well as something else that he couldn't recognize. He couldn't beat that guy. No matter what he did at this point, it wouldn't make a difference. He had come here to try to save the city and everyone in it. How was he supposed to protect them if he couldn't save himself at this point? As these thoughts ran through his mind, a glaze frosted over Adam's eyes as he recognized what this feeling was, despair.

At that moment, someone that had dipped out of the fight a while back jumped back in. "Don't move!" shouted Ryan as he pivoted out from one of the crevices in the walls around the room. This time holding a different gun, an Uzi 9mm, he glared at Andrew with gritting teeth and obvious anger, but without seriously shaking hands. "Pull something and I'll make swiss cheese out of you!"

I fell down, unable to react. Though, my eyes were open. They were open, and inside my brain, I was forced to see an unwanted scene-...
INTERLUDE

As soon as the ravens broke through, Abbiah leaped back. Whilst doing so, she pricked her finger across a spider-web like twine. A loud explosion filled the room, along with a black smoke. The table and walls were in shambles, flames overtaking all senses. Abbiah twisted on her heel, making a mad dash for the door. At the same time, more and more ravens poured in.

"Haaa--!!" She yelled out as she spun herself around, launching her right foot at the door. It crumbled under her strength, and she ran out into the hallway. The hallway proved to be a much better sanction, twine glistening in the light. Abbiah had to move, and fast. She was seething with anger; At the enemy, and her own stupidity. Ryu should have been back by now. Where was he? She kept worrying herself as she dragged her fingers across numerous trip wires in the hallway. Each of them triggered a different special bomb unique to the next. These were Abbiah's specialty; Despite her support prowess.

"Kuh-!" She busted down another door, running her fingers across the trip wire. At that moment, the doorway froze. Ice magic. The entire air around the room froze, and it grew cold. From the outside, the entire bedroom was a block of ice, five inches to a foot thick in some places. Wood and metal stretched as the ice pushed the other rooms back. It cut off all sources to the room. If the ravens wanted to get in, they'd have to break through.

"What to do-... What to do-..." She repeated to herself, making sure all preparations were in order. Trip wires encased the entire room. Each of these wires leading to another ice bomb, similar in nature. If she had to, Abbiah would freeze herself into a death state, yet her body would be functioning once more if thawed. Finishing the preparations, she pressed up to the wall.

"You practiced for this-..." She says to herself, flooding her magic circuits with her remaining magical energy. Once they were filled, she began to deposit that energy into the walls, supporting the entire room. Reinforce. Strengthen. Bend. She was doing everything necessary to survive this onslaught.
INTERLUDE OUT

As ryu fell to the ground, the figure drawn in the black trench coat smirked. Looks like he was dead. Picking him up like trash by the collar, he sniffed Ryu. He had some magical energy left, and the stench of death was yet to be on him. Either way, the man decided to leave him to the dogs, and he flayed the boy aside, towards the grail. The body flew down with a thud in the silence, picking up dust in the old basement. The boy grunted, but he did little but that.

"Trash." He muttered out in the silence, stepping forward. Bit by bit. Inch by inch. The sounds of his shoes clicking on the soft, silent floor echoed throughout the room. Within seconds, he stood behind adam and Ryan. He stepped down once more, calling out to the figure close to the grail.

"Hoi!" He yells out in a concise voice. The voice filled with purity, yet covered in defilement. This man has seen many things, yet seen nothing at all. He's blind. His eyes give that away. They are lifeless, only tracking to where this man swivels his head towards. His lips move in soft, minute strokes.

"How about we settle this like gentlemen-..." He spits out, as if to mock the two children in front of him. By now, he was near the bottom of the staircase. He stopped his tracks four steps before the bottom, and about ten meters from the grail itself. He took a deep breath, inhaling the magical energy in the room. Though he was blind, he could clearly see the magical build up in this room, and he couldn't help but plaster a grin on his face.

"The mana - So plentiful, don't you think? Perfect for summoning. What do you say; Summon some servants, and ally together? These boys wouldn't know what to do with one anyhow. Plus - " He pauses, turning back to them for a split second. His eyes, though they showed no emotion or life, were filled with hate. Then, he turned back.

"I don't want to die, like these fools." He says, pointing towards ryu. At that moment, he concentrates some of the magical energy from the magical energy in his own body, forming a ball of distorted gravity on his palm. The ball kept swirling with black magical energy, the man smirking. He was happy. He was enjoying the stench of blood, and mana. With a snap of his tongue, he fired off seven of the balls in consecutive order. They each impacted his side, and ryu yelped out. The body flung to the side, still unable to react. The man frowned, turning towards ryu.

"I'd hope you would put up a fight, kid." He briefly says, before turning back to Andrew.

"What do you say? We ally, and work together to conquer the world? Admit it. If the counter guardians come, you won't be able to survive on your own. You'll need help." This man made a hefty threat. He himself sensed the danger of mankind, and knew that counter guardians would be dispatched as soon as the entire world as a whole was threatened. He didn't like losing, so he decided to make a proposition to join the evil side.

"To show you my loyalty - " He pauses again, before cocking his head back towards Adam and Ryan. Murderous intent filled the room. This man aimed to kill everyone who stood in his way. He was a powerful magus - Only the vessel rivaling him in terms of spell combat. Only then, Andrew's only bonus was a nearly limitless prana pool.

" - I'll kill these three." He confesses with a grin, awaiting Andrew's reply.

As Adam brought out his wind shield a grin creeped onto Andrew's face as his blades of wind began to strike it. Within 2 blows the shield was barely holding up, and a few more blades finally broke through it sending Adam flying to the ground. As the boy narrowly dodge the mud that flowed from the Grail Andrew felt the boy's rage finally fade, and the buy stopped stirring. As Ryan peered out from cover Andrew nearly laughed out loud, but stopped moving for the moment. It was at that moment that James came into view, and Andrew's grin grew a bit wider. He sensed alot of Evil in the area at one point, but most of those magus had proved to be too weak to even make it inside. But it seemed at least one of those sources of Evil proved to be strong enough to make it inside, and was now making his way into the room. Even though Andrew didn't bother to listen to the man speak he could scene what the man wanted, and he wanted one of the most basic human desires. Power, it always seemed to be the thing human's desired, and it would lead to the downfall to many people through out history.

"To show you my loyalty I'll kill these three." said the blind man after he fired one of his spells into Ryu. Even though his body had taken damage Ryu still couldn't move but only watch what Andrew wanted. As Ryan's hand kept shaking Andrew made his move. Brandishing his clawed hand Andrew quickly closed the distance between him, and Ryan. As Andrew's body blurred in his vision Ryan opened fire to little effect as his spread wend wide hitting the walls, and ground near Andrew. With a loud crunch of breaking bones Andrew's clawed hand entered Ryan's rib cage, and tore into his lungs, and heart. As Andrew felt Ryan's blood flow over his arm he kicked the body aside "If you want some of this power you'll need to do more than kill 2 half dead magus. But there is another group that will be arriving shortly." said Andrew as the fresh blood from Ryan dripped off Andrew's claws "If you do manage to win I'll even give you your sight back." said Andrew as the Grail moved behind him, and a thin thread of power connected itself to the James' hand. And just for a single moment his sight flooded back , but then was quickly snatched away as the new of that both Simone, and Celeste had been corned by his shadows, and wear torn apart like gift wrapping on a child Christmas present.

Meanwhile at Ryu's

The traps had indeed slowed down the crows, but as Abbiah froze the door way shut her spelt her down doom. It a surge the crows hurled themselves at the ice, and turned back into the mud they were born from and slowly began to melt a bottom section of the ice, and advanced forward. Inside if Abbiah was watching the ice she would see the mud slowly making it's way into the room as the last bit of the ice blocking the way melted. As the mud surged into the room it began to collect, and transformed into a group of 5 shadows that fell upon the girl in a chorus of fangs.

Near Adam's prone body

At first a small whisper entered his mind, and he cringed at it. But this whisper felt more pure that what one would have expected from Andrew, but it was part of him all the same. "Stand up, and fight! Or do you want to see the world end?" said the whisper as it coiled around in Adam's mind, and then flowed in Ryu's mind as well. In the Grail a small pure spot began to appear as the whisper fought against the taint, and a pure water began to flow from the Grail. As it touched Adam, and Ryu all their injuries, and pain faded away as the water healed them. Then in a burst of power 3 marks appeared on their hands as the whisper transformed the 2 into True Masters for what could be the final Grail War.

The pure water began to glow as it formed two summoning circles for the pair to used, but the water flowing from the Grail began to slow as the whisper's power began to fade away under the Grai's onslaught " Summon your Servants they are your only chance!" yelled the voice as it finally faded from their minds

I... can't lose. I... can't die here... Abbiah.... I won't lose. I will protect her. I won't....

My eyes blink, hard. When I blink once more, I'm seeing abbiah be ripped to shreds. A wolf grabs her arm, yanking it out of her socket. Blood sprays. It begins to devour that limb. The leg goes next. She offers no resistance. She knows it's over. She knows that she won't get out alive. But why? Why did I feel as if I had made a mistake? I curse my idiocy.

"Haaaaaa...!!" I launch myself up, going against my body's will. Stay down! Stay down! It calls out for me to rethink, though I must ignore it. I can draw out more. More. More. More. More. The command seals draw up on my right hand, though I ignore them.

More.
More.
More.
More.
More.

I charge at full force, not even realizing what's going on. I've removed all stops. I charge straight towards the circles, though my instincts tell me to jump back. I quickly leap back, just as the floor distorts. What's this? Is this from that man who defected against us? It's strong magic to be sure. It would tear me apart in an instant, and not even the grail would be able to raise me. Nevertheless, I run towards the caster!

"Damn you...!!" I throw all my problems on him. I throw the issue of abbiah, and her death on him. I know it wasn't him, but the person who did it is not someone I can take out even if I dreamed of doing so. One strike. It will only take one strike to kill him. He can't track me. There's no way someone of such frail stature could even hope to track, or even defend against me. Yet...

"Huh!?" I jump back, evading the shifting field. He still covered one circle; The one closest to me. I had to get to those. His intentions were clear: Not allow access to the magic circles, and eventually stamp out the existence of the two masters. Though I wouldn't allow that...!!

"Haaaaaaaa!!" I concentrate all my might in my legs, and leap up. The room's tall, so that's good. The room is tall enough for me to leap high over the enemy's head. He couldn't hold his defenses. If I moved fast enough, I could overpower him! I strike down from the top, though the field repels me like a bubble. I go flying back, impacting the ground.

"Ooof!" I slide back a few feet, and lay there for a moment to assess the situation. He might kill me. I might leave myself open, and he will crush my bones. No time for thinking. Remove all stops. Wait, what's that? The ever present feeling of death looms over me. Jump. My instincts are telling me to jump. I sigh, going on my instincts. With that, I leap high into the air once more. Below me, I see the ground crumble under some sort of gravitational field. My instincts were keen, as they told me to move away from my current flight position. I follow them, and shortly thereafter the roof crumbles, collapsing at that point.

"Haaaaaaaaaaaaa...!!!!" I push magical energy into my circuits, projecting Vulf. I rush down, aiming for a slash. When...

"???" A light blinds my eyes, overtaking my vision. Magical energy began to drain from my body at an alarming rate. I fell down to the ground, holding myself as the light grew brighter.

Adam hadn't moved for a few minutes. To be honest, he hadn't seen much point in it. They were dead. They weren't dead yet, but there wasn't much point going against the obvious outcome. Andrew would roll over them like a steamroller and nothing would've changed. Their assault on the church had done nothing but get them killed. Even as he heard Andrew's claws cut through Ryan's innards like butter, it only went to further reinforce the despair that seemed to bind him to the ground like chains.

Then, just as quickly as it had began, the despair began to lift. As it lifted, Adam's five senses seemed to come out of their daze and he felt... water. It was coming from the Grail, but it wasn't the cursed mud from earlier. He could also hear a voice in his head. It sounded like Andrew, but the presence was different. It was sincere, not twisted and evil. As the water flowed over his body, every negative feeling, both internal and external, was lifted from Adam's body. The fatigue, the despair and hopelessness, and even the kink in his neck that he had woken up that morning with, were all washed away with the water. To be honest, it was the most pleasant feeling that he had ever felt.

Rising to his feet, Adam turned to face Andrew and the blind man who had apparently sided with him. Someone else was busy fighting the blind man, who was blocking one of the magic circles that had appeared on the floor. He had heard the voice from the Grail. He knew what the circles were for and he intended to use one. Standing opposite the circle from him was Andrew, the man that had just thoroughly trounced him. Now, it was his turn to make a comeback.

Holding up his hand, Adam noticed the stigma that had appeared on his right hand. A heart behind crossed swords had been etched into the back of his right hand. It was the mark of a Master. He had heard of them before this, but he had never seen one, having not been picked for the Grail War. Holding his hand out toward the nearest of the summoning circles, Adam poured mana into the circle and the stigma came to life, along with the circle itself. At about the same time, the other circle had a similar reaction and collectively, the two circles flooded the room with an intense light.

From the circle nearest Adam, something began to take shape in the light of the seal. Materializing from the ground up from a display of falling orbs of light, a figure appeared out of the light. Clad in white with spotless silver armor, the servant stepped forward out of the circle, showing herself to be a young woman and allowing her golden blond hair to settle along with the black bow that seemed to hold it in place.

For a moment, the girl stood still and faced away from Adam as if taking in the room around her. After that, however, she turned to look back at him, revealing a captivating pair of emerald green eyes. Although the eyes themselves seemed to have a more gentle nature, the stare that was behind him seemed to pierce through Adam's own eyes and gaze into his very soul. Without asking, the girl seemed to realize that he had been the one to summon her and turned fully toward him. For a moment, Adam realized that, after the somewhat brief but intense battle with Andrew, he wasn't much of a sight to see and his hair and clothes were wet from the holy water from the Grail. If the situation hadn't been so dire, he would be completely and totally embarrassed to meet a girl for the first time looking like he was, even if she was a servant. As Adam finally changed his attention away from the girl standing in front of him and back to Andrew, the girl seemed to pick up on it immediately, turning back around to face the magus as well.

"Still fighting to the end my other half?" asked Andrew as he felt the taint in the Grail lessen to an extent before he could shove it back down into it's depths. But his his other half fought against him, the Evil Andrew limited the power of the summoning circles somewhat before the other mages could use them. As the blind man fought against the re energized Ryu, Adam made a run to the summoning circles, and began to summon his Servant. In a flash of light a young female knight appeared, and quickly turned to face him. " Hey Saber is it about time we get serious?" asked Andrew as his Servant appeared at his side, and removed the visor that covered his face. As his blonde hair fell back into place he opened his eyes that were once green, but had turned into a golden hue from the taint he was exposed to. Gripped tightly in his hand was his tainted blade that seemed to bear the shadows themselves, and his armor also bore the taint twisting it to a much different color, and shape than it originally was. As his eye's scanned the room his eyes fell a pon Saber Lilly. As they did the grip on his sword tightened as he noticed the air gathered around her blade. During his time alive only one used that Noble Phantasm, and it was himself. In the next moment Saber began to attack as he ran towards Lilly and trusted his sword at her chest. To human eye to would have seemed that Saber appeared at Lilly's location, but in truth he surpassed most Servants in every attribute, and humans had no chance at seeing him moving at full speed. As he charged Lilly he brought he sword down to the point the tip nearly hit the ground, and slashed upward in a deadly arc as he got into range.

Meanwhile as James was fighting Ryu a set of Command Seals etched themselves into into his hand, and Andrew quickly produced a summoning circle with his own magic. At first the circle acted much like a normal one, but then it quickly began to drawn in the mud around the room to strengthen, and corrupt what ever was summoned. In an instant the room went dark as all light disappeared for an instant. When light flooded back into the room a pure black horse with it's rider on it's back stood wear the summoning circle once was. The most stunning thing about this rider was the lack of his head, and how every shadow in the room seemed to stretch out, and meet him. In a disembodied voice the Rider began to speak "I've come to serve my Master." ,and a bleached white whip appeared in his hand as he awaited orders.

Meanwhile the last summoning circle still buzzed with power, and the question that appeared in Andrew's mind was would anything even appear from this circle? Or would it simply disappear before Ryu could use it? It seemed only fate could answer that question.

The circle calmly clears, a figure in red with a long draped cloak standing there. His hands are cupped empty, only air through them. I gasp in awe for a moment. My attack falters, and I stop in my tracks. I gaze at the man in red, as another pool of gravity comes towards me. My instincts move my body before my brain even notices. Then... He says,

"I presume you are my master?" His voice is concise and clear. It's filled with sarcasm, yet reassurance. He steps forth, the Rider lashing it's whip out furiously. In seconds, the man in red's arms rise up, now fully armed. Two beautiful twin swords. They draw a beautiful cross, knocking the whip away. The whip lashed in again, and the process was the same. The man was beyond my level. Way beyond my level. Then...

"Scram." He says something unexpected, grunting as the Rider lashes out with his whip once more. He parries it with relative ease, preparing for the next. Then, I turn to the door. Without saying anything, I run off. I feel him... Speak to me.

I shall return once I finish the enemies. With that reassurance in my mind, I run at full speed, fleeing from the church...

INTERLUDE 1-2
The knight in red launches his right hook, a white sword. The whip parries, lunging in. He shrugs it off like nothing, lunging in again with the left snake, black as night. The Red hero was having no issues against the enemy. He would finish him quickly, and return to his master. The attacks keep coming. One. Two. Three... Ten. Eleven. Twelve. Each on of them lethal to Archer, he parries. Each one of them a kill shot, which he returns with another detrimental blow. They're fighting at their bests. Or, is one of them holding back?

"Hmph." He isn't even bothering. Archer's not even going at thirty percent. He's holding back. He doesn't care. He doesn't care about the enemy; He knows that the enemy will fall swiftly with Saber at his side. This time, it appeared as if they were on Equal terms. The horseman without a head to call his own would fall swiftly if Archer were to go full power. Anyone would fall swiftly if Archer went to his full power. Archer was not just Archer. He was a counter guardian. Counter Guardian EMIYA. Counter Guardians were dispatched for this type of situation. So...

"I am the bone of my sword..." Archer withdraws himself from the whip, across to the other side of the room. He drops kanshou and Bakuya, and closes his eyes. Inside, an image is formulating. An image of a sword not yet seen by anyone yet. No one knew that Archer had knowledge of this weapon. A long clay-more, Shining like dawn. Then, it formed in his hands. The sword pops out of thin air using the "Tracing" that Emiya Shirou was famous for. Not only did he project the weapon, but he downloaded the memories. The abilities. The proficiency. Because of this...

"Claiomh..." As he uttered the first word, the sword began t glow. It glowed a brilliant gold, blinding the room. The roof would collapse. It would collapse on them. But he didn't care. It would hold up long enough for the masters and himself to retreat. Even if he couldn't, it would be worth it. Hopefully the grail would be crushed under the collapsing roof. No matter. Pull out all stops. He's doing his duty as a Counter Guardian!!

"Solais!!!!" He growls out the final word in the name, and the pinnacle of the light is reached. He slashes the sword down, a giant beam flying straight out of it. The tip's the deadly part. Though the tip covers most of the room. Intense heat. That's all that engulfs the room. The beam whirrs towards Rider and his master, tearing the roof asunder. Rocks collapse. The line where the beam crossed is safe, which is Archer, and Rider. The other two will have to move out of the way lest they die from the rocks. The beam crossed towards Rider and her master in an instant. No time to dodge. The distance was too short.

INTERLUDE OUT

As Archer began his assault Rider lashed out at the new threat, but noted that Ryu fled from the Church. As Rider stuck out with his whip again, and again he noted that the man in red before him parried each strike with ease. As Archer jumped across the room Rider's whip coiled back into his hand as the man cast aside the weapons he used in their short fight, and began to chant. Rider had dealt with many magus before, but he couldn't help, but be impressed as Archer created The Sword of Light for his own use. Rider had never seen the sword in action himself, but he had heard of it's power. As Archer swung the sword Rider, and his steed galloped forward. As both the tip of the blades power, and Rider touched light filled the church. If Archer thought Rider was weak, and helpless the sight before him would have to change his mind. The power of the sword that was said no one could resit or escape was overcome by this one Rider, and his steed as the energy bathed them in a faint light as the blades power was nullified . As the rocks started to fall wind began to blow in the shattered remains of the building. At first it seemed like a normal wind until the falling rocks where diced into dust by Andrew's wind blades. " It seems that they still have an Ace ." commented Andrew as he felt Archer's power surge into the room. However even though a Counter Guardian managed to slip into asst his enemies Andrew knew that wouldn't be enough to overcome the Grail alone.

Meanwhile the battle with Archer continues

As the last threads of mana that made up Archer's attack disappeared Rider's whip uncoiled in his hand. But this time a in a flash of black light the white whip was replaced with a grim sight. Held now in Rider's hand was a whip crafted from a human spine, and shadowy blades quickly formed along it's length as Rider's counter attack began. Turning towards his steed to the right, Rider's whip lashed out repeatedly in a chorus of grinding bones, and blades. If the last attack effected Rider at all it didn't show in any aspect of Rider's assault.
