SERVANT TO THE SUPREME JEDI OVERMIND

With a smug grin, the figure strolls down the street. One thing was on it's mind. Not world destruction, not love. Pure chaos. He loved it, and he couldn't deny it. He had waited for this day. The long times in the lab would have payed off. With a slow stroll, the trench-coated figure continues his walk. Click. Click. Click. The heel of his shoes make a loud noise down the cobble-stone pavement of the harbor back streets. The stench of rotting fish and salt-water filled the area as the musk of old, drenched wood intoxicated his senses. Tap. Tap. Tap. He was using a cane for once. He didn't feel like using his magic tonight. In case any late night lovers came out, and saw him using it. After all, his eyes did seem different when he used his quick glance. Slowly, he arrived at the spot. His grin turned into a scowl as he finally used his glance.

"Hmph-... Isn't the best place, but it'll do." He said, dropping his cane. The blind, helpless act was up. Now it was time for him to get serious. He pushed one door open, and a loud creaking noise crept into his ears. His face cringes at the sound, and he steps forward. Crrreeeeeeak. The floor board nearly crumbles beneath his shoe, and he takes out a small kitchen knife. After a few seconds, the same smug grin comes across his face. Slowly, ever so slowly, he drags the knife across his finger. Then, he begins to draw the circle.

After a dreaded fifteen minutes, he drops the knife to the floor, and steps back. The circle was complete. Slowly, he thrusts one hand into his trench coat, and retrieves as spell book. Then, he perks his ears. A drunk was stumbling down the street. He chuckles, sliding the book back in. The first thing that crossed his mind was "No survivors. No eavesdroppers." He had killed before, and he had no problem doing it again. The man came closer, the drunken rant becoming more audible. Not caring, Stiles stepped out. Within a second, he stepped forward, acting as if he was a blind man who had lost his cane. Then, it happened. In a rush of sanguine, the man slowly began to die as Stiles drives the kitchen knife in his stomach. With a groan, the man falls. Stiles drops the knife, and grunts.

"You got blood on my trench coat, you bloody drunk." He spat out those cold words with little remorse, and returned to his task. Taking out the ebony paintbrush coated in dust, he sets it down on the circle. Memorizing the summoning spell, he begins to speak.

"Thy body shall be under my command, my fate shall be determined by thy sword." The circle begins to glow a soft red. He continues,

"Follow the call of the Holy Grail. If thou wouldst obey this mind and this reason, then answer my call." The light becomes brighter, and he doesn't stop. He had already stopped using his quick glance.

"Make an oath here. I am the one who will become the virtue of all Afterworld. I am the one who will lay evil to all Afterworld. Thou art Seven Heavens clad to the three Great Worlds. Emerge from the ring of control, guardian of balance." Then, a flash of red light fills the room. His senses go blank. The amount of prana in this room overwhelms him. His circuits catch fire. Intense prana begins to flow as his spells run rampant. Firing his gravity well, he crumbles the building.

At first, it felt like nothing. Endless darkness, floating along a river of emptiness. It felt like I was floating, or maybe I was just standing at that one spot. It had felt like an eternity went by. Suddenly, light burst forth, flooding my vision and filling my mind with images. I can see buildings, light, stone, wood, water. Yet, amidst the chaos swirling around me, a hint of excitement came with a slight smile on my face, and my hand gripped my sword tighter than before.

The light burst forth for a second, before all of it was collected back in a swirling vortex of force. I stand in its center, the lights now glowing from my sword. I took my time and observed my surroundings. My robe felt as it was before, comfy and well-equipped. Touching my face, I was met with the cold, ceramic surface of my mask.

The sound of the sea, the waves crashing against the stone of the Harbor, could not distract me enough from what was laying before me. A cold, lifeless body was left in front of me, bloodied and painful in his demise. Instantly, memories came flooding back, without any of my control. Knife mark. Weapon is short and light. A direct stab in the stomach. Very messy. Indicates no skill or effort was involved in the kill. Time of death, exactly one minute ago. Assailant... still present.

I turn around at that thought. Things like this come and go from time to time, sometimes helping me, providing valuable information, other times they're just a nuisance.

Standing before me was an ugly sight. A sort of a deformed version of a man. Hunched over his shoulders, his eyes had no sense of life. These thoughts plague my mind, but I know it is not my place to say anything.

"Master." I called out to the one who summoned me.

I felt no need to say anymore. The contract has been established. I walked towards his side as the cold chilled me, even through my robes. The sky was empty, the whole scene a drab in the conveyance of emotions and ambiance. I find myself wondering who I'll be going against, how strong this man is, and most importantly, what is my next order.

James looked a bit shocked. He hadn't expected to summon such a figure. He expected something more dark and deceitful. He noticed his hunch, and made an attempt to straighten his back. He hated that hunch, and wanted to change it. Though it didn't matter. He activated his glance, and took a look at his servant.

"I am James Stiles, your master." Spoke out the cold figure. "Who are you, Servant?" He quirked one brow in a prankster manner. Such a horrid way for him to reply to a servant. Though he took class in matters that appeased to him. He tapped his side, pondering on numerous events. Where his father was, which was a weird topic of him.

The question brought a wave of thoughts into my mind. My sword glowed as bright as any star in space. Should I tell him my true identity? Is he worthy of such a critical information, should I hand it to him on a silver platter? I suspect my presence do incite confusion in him, I guess. I have nothing but my robe on. Embroidered with golden linings and caricatures of dragons and phoenixes alike, it looked as majestic as it was before. I can see Master trying to fix his hunch. His attitude, together with the words he muttered as he did it, suggest that he is a man of little patience and horrible temper.

"I am of the Saber class." I say what was necessary. "My name is Leona." I gave out, as calm as I ever was. This man does not need to know. I suspect his attitude would change should he come into realization of who I truly was. Information appears in my mind of the records of my life, and it by itself is a surprise indeed. They did not find out about my true identity, even after all these years.

I await my order after saying what needed to be said. Should he question more, I may be forced to give out more information about myself. But until then, this shall suffice.

Still, as I waited, I find my mind wandering about the progress civilization has achieved since I passed on. I never took a step from where I was, but I could already see the difference, maybe even improvements, in architecture and engineering. The buildings and vehicles of this time is very much intriguing. I will have to get a closer look at them in the future, should that chance ever presents itself.

With a small laugh, he turns around. Stuffing both hands into his trench coat, he walks to the door.

"Come- Saber. We have hunting to do. I sense large amounts of prana to the north. It should be a good starting point, no?" He spoke out in a nonchalant voice, before heading out. He snuffed his nose once more to deal with the stench of a decaying body, and the harbor air. Slowly, he walked back up the cobblestone path. Click. Click. Click. Click.

"We have-... Dark tidings."
