The time was the afternoon Tessa in her infinite wisdom today was working on a project that was designated for two people but her partner whom was chosen at random because she wouldn't convince anyone to become hers was Takahara Shijo a rather quite person but he wasn't shy like Tessa rather he made it his duty to avoid people. It was something they were suppose to do together yet when Tessa would try to convince him he would disappear muttering he didn't have time to worry about school work it was a rather bothersome excuse he used time and time again to avoid teaming up. Yet there was a problem if she did the project all on her own she wouldn't get the full grade without Shijo's name like it or not this wasn't a personal project and she had to at least get his consent that she did this project. When she tried contacting him through his home phone his mother answer stating he had gone somewhere sadly she didn't know where, infuriated at his timing since the due date was tomorrow she stormed out of her own home to search for the rude bastard. Since most of her clothes were still being washed she used her school's winter uniform and departed for the town. She asked the shops nearby his house bringing his school picture with her luckily alot of people knew the boy just not to well but had sighted him heading north, all her tracking down would lead her to the town's catholic graveyard. Tessa was a bit taken aback that anyone would come here willingly at this late hour at first she thought he maybe was giving his respects to someone and wanted to leave but she was pressed for time and had to at least get his signature. She wandered into the graveyard careful to avoid the gravestones and the area in front of them until she saw a flashing blue light the illuminated the whole area stepped backward only stopped from panicing and fleeing the lights sudden disappearance. "I...It could be just people goofing off...Yeah that's it...stupid guys going to serious tick off some of the dead here..." She muttered proceeding toward the area the blue light came from. When she came upon the sight she met Shijo or rather the body of Shijo his eyes shot blood red as his body steamed with heat as if he was shocked to death. At that instant she desperately wanted to run away from this scene the last thing she wanted in her life was to be entangled in with a murder case. Yet her heart begged her to remain to at least see if there was anything she could do, Searching his body for any vitals it was easily confirmed he had died only an hour ago she didn't want to linger though so she attempted to stand so she could leave but the blue light appeared once more this time it engulfed her it was so blinding she could hardly see suddenly a sharp pain arose in her right hand a burning sensation so great it felt she was being branded! She rushed through the blinding light leaving most of her belonging back at the camp running to where she knew not but came upon a small lake in the cemetery. With tears pouring she thrusted her still burning hand into the water but the icy water did little to stop the heat that was driving her mad. "Ahhhh...What...The hell...Stop burning already!" She moaned in agony digging her hand deep into the watery dirt getting her right arm and sleeve drenched. After awhile the burning stopped on its own as Tessa pulled her hand out of the water and into view some sort of emblem embedded into her right hand like a tattoo was there. "That defiantly wasn't there before I got to get out of here I can get my stuff tomorrow just need to get home and sleep all this away like it was just a bad dream!" She stated slowly walking out of the church until she heard another's footsteps closing in on her own. Hearing the figure growing closer she pushed herself into an all out run attempting to exit the place before this person could catch up however the figure only felt closure the harder she tried to escape it. |

I was walking through the countryside, my mind lost in thought. What if I went too hard on him? He could have gotten hurt...That was only meant to be a training exercise anyway... I grunt as I see the light. I abruptly kick off to a sprint, moving my arms through the air like pikes.I keep running through the brush, until I come upon a rusted cemetery gate. I grunt, peering to the source of the light. There I Press myself behind a rock. I hide behind a small upright stone. I breath heavily, as I have kept moving non-stop since daybreak. He senses someone from inside the cemetery, as well as a stronger figure.I won't stand a chance in a magi-magi fight, let alone if she has a servant. I don't even have contact with Hanzo...I knew I shoulda' went easier on both attacks... I press myself against the wall, averting my exhausted gaze down to the ground, spreading a small amount of creep, 1 square foot in length. I lay my head against the stone, breathing heavily.

The blinding light had subsided finally was a large grey figure stepped out from the glare. It was clearly a man foreign to the area as he stood there looking about for just a few seconds, not to mention the strange Celtic like clothes he was wearing. The most notable feature of him was that he clearly wasn't Japanese, but some kind of European possibly even American. His hair was fairly short and ragged, that and the stubble that had formed on his jaw made it clear that he wasn't some normal resident of the area. Furthermore he was some kind of spear at his side, it wasn't unlike people to go around cosplaying in this day-n-age but this was a step too far for even the strangest of otaku. The Servant scoffed as he saw the camp he had been summoned into. This was some form of settlement was it? And in a cemetery no less. It didn't look like it was build to last very long, so it must have just been temporary or whoever had constructed it wasn't very good at this sort of thing. It took him a moment to catch himself from picking apart the shotty build work and focus on the more important matter at hand, whoever had managed to summon him here. His stern brown eye's caught hold of the young girl slumped into the floor just aways away from him. She was clearly distressed, but even from here he could see the command seals on her arm. There wasn't much more than that that would convince him she was his master. The terrible grey figure began to approach the being he held as his master, only to see her bolt off in less than a second after he noticed her. What was the problem? had she noticed something that he had not? He was just summoned after all so there was a good chance that he was a bit off when it came to these things. With a small grunt of annoyance he started after his master, though at a slugs pace. It wasn't like there was any danger out there for the moment, so he should be allowed to take his time with this if anything. |

She would stumble alot not only did she feel extremely tired from the unexpected event but her long skirt usually prevented her or most students from her school from running too fast. Yet she managed to persevere until she reached the gates with a smile upon her face she passed through them and shut them close latching the lock around center effectively closing it tightly. "It's over ha...Poor Shijo though wish I could've done something to him from whatever that was..." Tessa promptly thought trying to get her baring which was the proper way home. Until steps though slow felt like the world beneath him cringed it was a tall man who clearly wasn't from this country in fact he bore a striking resemblance to a people Tessa knew from her own country. 'Is he a...hilly billy? he almost fits the description though not a hilly billy with a buck tooth or is stupid but one of those who wears animal fur and can kill bears with just their hands! ...Ah calm down...Maybe he's just playing dress up or is he the one who killed Shijo...' Tessa thought take a step back so she's out of arms reach from the gate if the man tried to grab her from that position. "Who're you did you kill Shijo?!" She asked the man from beyond the cemetery gate unsure of his purpose being here and since she arrived when Shijo was dead it could only be this man who was another murder suspect yet Shijo's death in magi terms was the result of being ill prepared from the summoning in both mental and physical shape as well as the poor spot he choose for the summoning. |

I would seem that even with his casual approach that he was still fast enough to catch up to this woman in only a few seconds. She must be a fairly weak girl, seeing that she was already out of breath from running just that distance. Sadly it would seem that he was stuck with a master what had little to no potential as a mage. That was alright though, not everyone is allowed to be the best and would simply have to do with that they had. Just as long as this girl won't run off and get herself killed than she wouldn't bother him too much at all. Hearing his would be master slur out a question or two the man propped his spear against his shoulder while cocking his eye brow slightly. Was she really this ignorant? Well that's a shame. He thought to himself as he looked back to the trail he had come along. She also was asking for someone? Well there wasn't anyone he caught eye of back there so he doubted that it was something they had to worry about. "I'm Lancer, a Knight class servant." His reply was meant to at least get her memory going if she knew about the war, there was a chance that she was just in a panic right now after all. "As for this..Shi..jo?" The Irish man tried his best at pronouncing the name as best he could, though it was clearly not something his tongue was going to be capable of. "I do not know anyone of that name, and I haven't killed anyone I've only been here for a few minuets now." "And what about you? Are you my master?" The Celtic knight quarried as he turned his attention back onto the girl. He was fairly sure that she was his master, but there is always a small chance that she was just some other master that stumbled across here. |

I grunt, peering out from the other side of the rock. I spot the celtic man, as well as the girl. I freeze in fear. Blast... I... I can't take a master on in my current case, let alone a servant! I grunt, slowly crouching. I slowly take one step, the physical exhaustion setting in. Each step seems as if I'm carrying lead weights with my feet. I slowly inch my way across the opening, keeping a close eye on the two conversing. Ever since Hanzo killed fergus, I've had nothing but bad luck.. I start to complain in my head, coming ever so closer to my objective. As long as they didn't see me, I'd be okay. I could even get in close enough to hear some of their conversation. With each step I took, the weight on my feet seemed to get greater. It's as gravity on earth had gotten heavier, with each step I took. About a minute passed, and I was halfway to the next rock. My feet were like iron boots, clanking over glass shards. I grunted as I tried to rest, but when I turned over to the celtic man and the woman, I hastened my movement again. I know I cannot hold my own, let alone survive in my condition... If only I had a servant right now... I finally make it to the first checkpoint, another rock, slightly lower than the other. I drop my head, breathing heavily. My pants are torn from before, my shirt filled with numerous rips and blood stains. I could feel my leg burn in agony. I knew what had happened, the adrenaline rush from everything that had happened before had worn off, and the agonizing pain from my leg returned. I press myself to the rock, closing my eyes. I breath heavily as I feel the pain flow to my head. |

Tessa gave a quizzical look at the man who identified himself in such a strange manner to her 'Knight Class...Lancer that makes no sense it's like he's talking statistics of a board game or something.' Tessa thought quickly still having her right hand embedded with the strange tattoo on her hand though she hide it behind her back as she still felt a little burning sensation but the worst of it died down. "I have no idea what you're talking about but if you didn't kill him...This is the last thing I wanted to happen today." Tessa lamented as her own problems seemed to grow extensionally with now a man whom had the figure of a mountain man and the death of one of her classmates things just seemed to go on with her things going wrong streak. She then peered as he asked his next question. "Master...Don't think so if anyone was your um...master it was Shijo didn't think he'd be interested in those occult things ugh...I just need to lie down and forget all this..." Tessa thought thinking there was no way she could be anyone's master or for that fact have any servants. 'Who in their right mind would have anything like that in this day an age...Just have to ignore this crazy guy not like he can break down a steel fence anyway may be old but still should be strong.' She thought turning around preparing to leave this mountain to his own devices yet when she twisted left her right hand would reveal the lightly glowing emblem to Lancer showing him the true answer he needed. |

A wave of displeasure came over the lancer as he let a sigh out of his lips. So she wasn't even his master, and the likely candidate was already dead it seemed. Well this was just going to be a bad day for everyone now wouldn't it? Celtchar was out a master and this poor girl here was just some innocent kid that ended up getting involved in something that she shouldn't have. By law of the war he would have to kill her, as much as he dislikes the very thought of it there is no way around it. "That so.." His voice was grim as he lowered his spear from his shoulder. "Then if you are not my master than you'll...Wait.." The servant caught himself before he delivered his final words to the child. He recalled seeing the command seals on her hand earlier, or rather he thought he did. If she really does have them then he was right and wouldn't need to kill her and nothing would even change if he was wrong. "Then allow me to see your hands." He commented, now realizing that she had been hiding them from him all along. Right now there wasn't anything going right, if she was his master than she surly didn't know what was going on or that she would die if he found her out as a fake. |

I grit my teeth, slowly kicking off to the treeline. I take one tread, crushing a bundle of sticks and leaves under my boot. I gulp as I continue my trek forward. I notice the servant, a bit closer to the master now. One thing runs through my mind as I feel my muscles scream in my leg: I must survive, no matter the cost. I continue my slow trek across the open field, the treeline seeming kilometres away. Another agonizing minute passes, I've traveled less than before, the pain overwhelming every movement I take. I can't even twist my head. Sweat pours down my brow as I take a step, trying to keep myself quiet, until I can get into the treeline. I continue my trek, sweat filling my eyes. I try to wipe it out, but my limbs refuse to move from my sides. I seem to be a lifeless body, moving inches across an open field, death on either side. I cross over to a small bush, planning to use it as a rest spot. As I head to the backside of the bush, a root trips me, my ankle twisting, making a painful sound. I fall into the bushes, letting a agonizing scream out. " AGHHHH! " I fall to the ground, the palms of my hands facing outward. Most of my body fell into the bush, only a bit of my shoe is sticking out into the open. The backside of the bush collapses, catching my body, while the front side stays the same. "Of course not I'm sure you'll find your 'Master' to continue this silly game of yours anyway..." Tessa stated as she walked away hoping her troubles were over but just before she could a killers intent was felt all over her body forcing her to stop feeling she could only stand still that any movement to save her life would be fruitless. Lancer beckoned her to wait with at first for some reason a few minutes before hand she felt a minor killing intent which froze for a brief moment 'What was that, for a moment I felt like death was so near...Was it from him? I don't want to imagine it was him...but just to be on the safe side.' Tessa thought quietly before turning herself back to him with quite a distressed look upon her face unable to shake the killer instinct she felt only a while ago. Though her right hand still felt a bit number so she both arms and hands forward with palms first which revealed nothing then she extended then down to the dorsal side of her hands and showing the command seal upon her numbed right hand. It had a unique diamond shape that from afar resembled a dragon of some kind though Tessa dislike body markings and wished to remove it if she could. "Satisfied...Now can I go today has taken a few years off my life as it is." She stated with a sigh then a quick yelp as she heard a rather loud yell it didn't sound like any sort of woman though more like a man in pain though she couldn't pinpoint where exactly it came from. "What was that? Can't things just go back to normal anytime soon..." She inquired to herself a bit too scared to move on to investigate it. |
