"Eh?" Jay said as he looked over to his servant with a dumb-look on his face, "Oh right, yeah..."

As he carefully climbed on the back of the giant dragon, he felt that his servant was severely drained after summoning the massive dragon.

Closing his eyes, Jay visualized a thread between the two of them, and began transferring prana to the man though that thread.

"I guess that this would be a bad time to mention my fear of heights..." Jay commented after the transfer was done.

Jay Valentine - 55/165

Although Jason did not quite get what Jay had spoken a few seconds ago, Isoma heard it quite clearly. Her jaw and teeth moved in a way similar to that of a chuckle, as if she laughed at what Jay had said. Jason, of course, was a bit surprised at that. It would take a really funny joke or set of words to actually make a dragon that lived since the time of the gods laugh, or so he thought. That was when Isoma's voice or thoughts echoed again in Jason's head.

That adolescence you labeled 'Master' has a fear of heights. Perhaps, tamer, that you should also mention the fact that upon achieving a certain factor of speed in the air, his skeletal system would break because of the extreme gravitational force?

A stunned look was pasted on my face as the thoughts were digested in my head. Uhh...well, what he doesn't know won't hurt him, right? We will just have to go slow and hide behind the camouflage of the clouds. "Right." I announced, as if avoiding the subject. "The key is to hold on to the wings." I direct the very basics of Dragon Riding to Master.

A dragon's wing is said to contain the strongest muscle in the whole of its body, this grants them superiority in not just the air, but in the sea as well. They contain the strength to carry the weight of their entire body and still have excess strength to propel themselves through the air faster than a modern fighter jet.

Isoma readied her body, taking the stance to take off. Jason could feel his blood pulsing as he felt her muscles tensed. With a single, mighty jump, as well as a beat of her gigantic wings. They took off towards the sky of Shinichi. Of course, Jason could feel that Isoma pulled back majority of her strength. Joke or not, her personality would not compel her to kill without reason, and Jason knows she would rather preserve a life than kill it off. Turing to see Jay, struggling, but nonetheless, having a firm grip on her wing as well as having an acceptable body position,a small smile appeared on Jason's stoic face for once as they both soared towards the clouds.

Panic filled filled Jay's mind as the dragon took off.

I'm going to die. Jay thought as he closed his eyes, as he tried imagining his feet on the ground. Bloody hell, I'm on a dragon and I'm flying...

Deep within the dark blue clouds, hidden by the shadows, the golden phantasm soared on. Though at a slower pace, the speed of the dragon was nowhere slower than a fighter jet. My attention was focused towards the surroundings as we circled the skies of the city.

Tamer, this boredom is most unwelcome. I feel as though I'm reduced to nothing but a drifting piece of stone.

A piece of stone that's as fast as a plane. Well, we have no choice, if Master dies, I disappear, if I disappear, you disappear. Looking at Master, I see that he is doing quite well for someone who's riding a dragon for the first time. Aside from his wide eyes, tensed movements and massive amounts of perspiration, that is.

"How are you holding up, Master?" I asked. I got no reply.

Float. Float. Float. Drift. Drift. Drift. Look, a cloud in the shape of an egg!

...

Ignoring Isoma's disturbing and annoying thoughts, I turn my focus back to scouting. So far, We have flown over the school as well as the harbor. Strange. There is not much activity tonight. Suddenly, a wave of corruption drowned my senses. As my hearing returned, I instinctively moved my head in the direction of the source, like an animal aware of danger.

Tamer.

"Yes." Isoma must have felt it too.

Onwards.

Jay held on to the dragon's wing with all of his strength.

I'm going to die... He thought as he held his eyes closed tightly as he continued to imagine himself on the ground.

When we land I'm going to call for a taxi cab. The English assassin decided.

Pant. Pant. Pant.

I ran. I was running. From what? I'm not so sure... Every time I turn to see, my vision gives out, blindness playing its sick prank on me. Amidst the deafness of it all, I could hear crying. It was a voice I heard before. Blood can be seen flowing in the direction I was running. Blasts of energy hit my sides. I could feel my skin sizzle and smell the charred flesh. I turned again to throw my spear, hoping to end the attackers life with a strike through his or her head.

It did no such thing.

Another set of blasts went down. Intense pain pierced into my thighs. It was like someone driving a stake into each of my thighs using a sledgehammer.

"Argh!!"

The sound of my voice signaled the end of my will and strength. I fell. Darkness swept across my eyes as my head dropped on the ground.

Clank. Clank. Clank.

I opened my eyes as much as I can. With my strength though, I could only slightly open them. The sight of metal heels were immediately replace with an intense jolt of pain. I think I saw a silver, metal spear, it's thickness around the size of my head, pierced through my chest.

I could only catch a glimpse of my assailant's face before I closed my eyes to the cold, stone floor.

"Me...dea..."

I woke up abrupt in the face of the glimmer of light. Dawn was fast approaching. The cold winds only serve to worsen the chill I got from the cold sweat covering my body. The nightmares seems to be getting worse.

And that dream may become a reality.

Scanning the surrounding, I find myself in a cave. Outside the entrance which the light was beaming in was a clear sight of the open fields where I summoned Isoma. Walking with just the burden of my casual clothes, I materialized my coin, and walked towards the entrance. Flipping it, I find myself consumed by my thoughts.

To win this war means to kill each and every Heroic Spirit I come across, but can I raise my blades against Medea? And can I ignore it when she is in danger?

I gave out a loud sigh.

Well, I will see when the time comes. And it will not come should I continue this defensive stance in this war.

Time to go on the offensive, Tamer?

The coin flipped onto a head as the thoughts of Isoma ended. If I cannot have my wish, then I will help Medea with hers. Whichever it is, I will have to act. I just hope my actions won't be a reckless one.

First thing's first, I have to locate Master.
